I honestly and genuinely do not understand why you fear anything at all. Isn't the world SUPPOSED to end? Aren't we all SUPPOSED to die? Isn't it supposed to be the best thing that will ever happen? When you're in heaven after the rapture, will you mourn Western Civilisation? Isn't there supposed to be tribulation and destruction? Then why do you "fear" that something bad might be happening to the world?
Same reason I don't understand why aborted babies or any deaths of children make baby Jesus cry. They would almost certainly have ended up in hell if they had been born, since they wouldn't've joined your sect.

It was obviously a runoff election because nobody gave a crap in the first place as to which one of these conservative citizens was going to have the privilege of losing the general election.

Yes, those with a real interest in these races had the opportunity to vote early, which was more convenient for most (including me). Still...
And what about any of that predicts, hints, or so much as infers the imminent collapse of western civilization? Moreover, what reason, other than stroking your undeserved ego, do you have to support the idea that the whole of western civilization is dependant on you getting your way?

I fear that Western civilization does not have long to live.
And yet western civilization did just fine during all those centuries before there ever was a republican party. Claiming that civilization itself depends on a single political ideology, one which you also hold yourself, is nothing more than blatant and unchecked arrogance on your part.
