Yes, it was a runoff involving only the far-down-the-ballot judgeship races. Yes, it was a Republican primary runoff in a heavily (perhaps the most heavily) Democratic side of town. Yes, those with a real interest in these races had the opportunity to vote early, which was more convenient for most (including me). Still...

There were 26 combined precincts at my polling place with a grand total of 42,788 registered voters.

Of that number, how many were Republicans who cared enough to show up and vote?

Ten. That's right, ten.
