Quote# 72475

For me it is better to be "ignorant" and go to heaven, than to go to a fancy school and then go to hell, because of what the liberal curriculum made you beleve.

I'm going to rot...

There is no such place as heaven. It is all made up.

Ignorance is nothing to be proud of...

Quantum Mechanic

Stupid and proud of it.

4/25/2010 6:54:33 PM

Well, congratulations. You've certainly got the ignorance part covered.

4/25/2010 6:56:15 PM

This kid probably got kicked out of elementary schools for being too ignorant.

4/25/2010 7:02:58 PM

I'll take my chances.

4/25/2010 7:33:15 PM

Ignorance in bliss: Taking it to new levels.

4/25/2010 7:41:16 PM

Dude, there's a reason I never turned back.

It wasn't brainwashing. Think about that.

4/25/2010 8:02:00 PM

I hate to break it to you buddy, but ignorance is definitely not bliss.

4/25/2010 8:23:43 PM

Old Viking

... it is better to be "ignorant" ...

You're doing well.

4/25/2010 8:24:26 PM

If your God didn't want us to learn then what was the point of giving us the intellectual capacity to do so?

4/25/2010 8:32:45 PM

Personally, I'd prefer the school that taught me to think well and critically. This is why I know your hell or heaven doesn't exist.

And failing Sandbox 1.

Meh, this makes a lot of sense from their perspective.

4/25/2010 9:43:24 PM

refuter of fundy vermin

'For me it is better to be "ignorant" and go to heaven'

Then I hope you get to 'heaven' sooner rather than later because I don't want to be supporting your useless fundy ass when you can't find work. And actually, hell might not be so bad if it doesn't include all the other brainelss fundies. Oh wait, it's the fundies who ARE making life hell...that's why they're REALLY the ones headed there!

4/25/2010 9:53:53 PM

Translation to english: "I'm a fucking moron and proud of it!"

4/25/2010 10:35:56 PM

Why would you need to be ignorant to go to heaven?

4/25/2010 10:37:58 PM

Well, you aren't going to heaven and we aren't going to hell, so you're just ignorant.

4/25/2010 10:40:32 PM

Isn't faith supposed to be stronger by testing it constantly? These people seem SO afraid of even the slightest little piece of test, their faith must be paper-thin and almost transparent.

Schools don't make you believe, they teach you the facts. Afterwards you can go back to believing whatever you want.
I was taught within a socialistic curriculum, and I still had class-mates who were, and still are, Christian. I have friends who managed to stay Jewish and Muslim through school too.

4/25/2010 10:47:17 PM

Phew! For a moment there I thought there'd be no one left to mop the floors at McDonalds. Thanks for setting my mind at ease mate.

Pule Thamex

Typical! Me, me, me! It's not just you, it would be better for the rest of us too if you were to remain your usual ignorant self and go off to heaven, (or wherever, as long as it's far from Earth), than to waste time and resources by clogging up a valid educational establishment with your stupidity.

Slave To Uni

I went to the same Elementary School as Following Jesus Word...

His grades were so bad, he got a "D" in lunch.

4/25/2010 11:47:44 PM

Actually, this one is quite sad.

They do see people who get proper educations* who turn away from Christianity, so know it's a real possibility. But they think that it's because those leaving Xianity were brainwashed by the education rather than being freed from the brainwashing that was already in place.

And of course, when you're THIS side of the Xianity fence, then you're convinced that leaving Xianity will send you to hell, it's a very real concern.

And given those premises, then there IS a certian logic in eschewing the source of the risk, i.e. education.

* As a secular home-schooler, I include quality home-education in that.

Mrs. Antichrist

For those of us living in the rational world, it's better to make the most of your life than to hold yourself back on the off chance that heaven and hell really do exist.

David B.

"For me it is better to be "ignorant" and go to heaven, than to go to a fancy school and then go to hell"

Yes, it's better for me if you do that too! So you contiue becoming dumber and dumber and we'll continue to make the world more and more reliant on very complex technology, deal?

4/26/2010 4:45:14 AM

Pride in ignorance. The death of us all.
