Hitler believed Germans came from a race of super-human demi-gods called "Aryans". Then the bloodline got corrupted.
He believed that the superpowers can be accessed by controlled breeding to restore the bloodline and insurance on keeping those powers would be to kill everyone that has a chance of polluting the bloodline again.
The reality is that Aryans were just a tribe/nation that existed in the Middle East around 3000-2000 BC. Nothing superhuman about them.
