Oh yes ... I'm sure a LOT of dirt farmers in Bangladesh would love to savour a slice of your oppression - advanced high technology medical care, flash cars and houses, high speed broadband internet and widescreen cable TV in the home, and a constitution that guarantees basic human rights, or at least will continue to do so as long as fundies like you aren't allowed to tear it up. Ah diddums, poor little fundies not allowed to impose your Torquemada S&M fantasies upon the rest of us and subject the rest of us to 24/7 Bible bashing, oh you're so oppressed. Want a quick overview of how "oppressed" people were when fundies like you were in charge in the past? Do a quick Google search on "Inquisition". If all you fundies are so convinced that your way of life is the apotheosis of human happiness, why don't you put your money where your mouths are, buy yourselves an uninhabited island somewhere and set up your theocracy there so the rest of us can watch and see how wonderful your proposed theocracy is? No, you won't do that, you want to take advantage of an existing nation with lots of resources, you want to force millions of other people to conform to your narrow world view, it's a power trip that you all jack off to. That's the real agenda isn't it - you all pull your willies at the prospect of being able to dictate to everybody else how they should run their lives and how they should think. Just a thought for you CanaanBound - the historical period when people like you were in charge in Europe is known as the Dark Ages. When you were all given the big heave-ho and told to insert your god bothering into a suitable orifice and ignite it, the resulting period of ushering in reason became known as The Enlightenment. You might want to ponder why that is ... since your own Constitution is a product of that era.
