Quote# 7280

Yea, the Supreme Court will become the FINAL SOLUTION for us christians...I wouldn't be surprized if that [pledge of allegiance] decision was on June 30.

Final solutions always end well.

If there's one thing history has taught me (you know, that collection of events that has been recorded and passed down from one generation to the next, which is being tainted by the liberals to only include things that actually happened is that final solutions rarely work out for either party involved.

Hie thee hence to Canaan, CanaanBound.

What? You can't find it? Awww. Looks like you have yet another problem. My condolences.

Millions and millions of Jews, Gypsies, and others the Nazis considered impure were snuffed out during the Holocaust.

Your whining over not being able to put 10 Commandment Monuments in Court Houses is NOT The Holocaust. It doesn't even come fucking close, shithead.

Ah yes, the tired old canard of "We are the most oppressed people that have ever lived!" CanaanBound, I don't suppose you ever engaged any brain cells except for the fleeting moment it took you to channel zap between PTL and Gospel TV, but here's something to exercise them with, assuming that they haven't already atrophied beyond repair as a result of being a terminal fundie ...

Oh yes ... I'm sure a LOT of dirt farmers in Bangladesh would love to savour a slice of your oppression - advanced high technology medical care, flash cars and houses, high speed broadband internet and widescreen cable TV in the home, and a constitution that guarantees basic human rights, or at least will continue to do so as long as fundies like you aren't allowed to tear it up. Ah diddums, poor little fundies not allowed to impose your Torquemada S&M fantasies upon the rest of us and subject the rest of us to 24/7 Bible bashing, oh you're so oppressed. Want a quick overview of how "oppressed" people were when fundies like you were in charge in the past? Do a quick Google search on "Inquisition". If all you fundies are so convinced that your way of life is the apotheosis of human happiness, why don't you put your money where your mouths are, buy yourselves an uninhabited island somewhere and set up your theocracy there so the rest of us can watch and see how wonderful your proposed theocracy is? No, you won't do that, you want to take advantage of an existing nation with lots of resources, you want to force millions of other people to conform to your narrow world view, it's a power trip that you all jack off to. That's the real agenda isn't it - you all pull your willies at the prospect of being able to dictate to everybody else how they should run their lives and how they should think. Just a thought for you CanaanBound - the historical period when people like you were in charge in Europe is known as the Dark Ages. When you were all given the big heave-ho and told to insert your god bothering into a suitable orifice and ignite it, the resulting period of ushering in reason became known as The Enlightenment. You might want to ponder why that is ... since your own Constitution is a product of that era.

You fundies seriously need to get over yourselves.

Professor M

...and now the Supremes have ruled that Americans have no legal grounds to challenge the Bush administration's public funding of conservative Christian groups. Wonderful.

Martyr your own stupid self, you lazy jerk. Three years ago.

You know the whole "under god" bid in the pledge of alleigence was only added in 1954 right?

7/16/2008 1:03:28 AM

They stuck a "construction of a Christian Auschwitz" bill in with one that takes "under God" out of the pledge?

Anyway you can STFU and quit with the drama. You're an insult to Jews, gypsies, gays, blacks, and others who endured the Holocaust.

The pledge used to say "one nation indivisible." By adding awkward pauses and "under God" you divided it. Bad idea.
