If you actually looked outside your borders, you would see that the world, as a whole, is fairly peaceful right now. World peace is still very far off, though, and will probably not be a fact as long as there are religions.
All religions are fairly sick, and all the Abrahamic religions are more similar than they are different. If Islam is sick, then so is Christianity.
