And he had to kill millions of people to have it happen, eh?

So he is, in fact, interfering with our free will. And your omnipotent god didn't know of another way to get the Jews in their land without killing 6 million of them.
Yeah, ask me why I don't follow your religion again.

I remember that
John Hagee had that view as well.
See their point #2. That's what got McCain to drop that fat fool.

You know what, if this are the "mysterious ways" in which God works, I don't want his help.
Geez, this reinterpretation gives "Collateral Damage" a hole new meaning. And not in a good way.

So your god's way of doing that is to allow their systematic slaughter rather than just using his omnipotence to magick them all over to Israel? Your god is either a complete moron or a complete dickhead and you are both for worshiping him. Go fuck a landmine.

How does it feel to worship evil, Chris? As I don't prostrate myself slavishly before anything, I've never known.

There are those who think God handled this in a somewhat ham-handed fashion. I always say, "Give him a break, he isn't all that bright."

Maybe if God hadn't set up Adam and Eve to fail in the first place then he wouldn't have had to go through all the trouble of redeeming mankind. Of course, if you really look at that story then you see just how imperfect the Christian god really is. I think the real hero in that story was the talking snake. At least the snake didn't lie, unlike God who blatantly did so which is what really pissed him off when he got caught.

God doesn't intervene in men's free will, but he knows ahead of time what is going to happen
Then it's not free will. It's predetermined destiny.

Just sayin'.

God doesn't intervene in men's free will, but he knows ahead of time what is going to happen, so he uses our actions, which are going to happen exactly as God has already known they will, for the progress of his perfect plan, which won't happen the way he knows ahead of time unless he uses our actions? Erm.
Yeah, and if shoot you in the head, I haven't commited murder, for I knew ahead of time that you were going to be killed that way with that gun, and so I just held the gun, pointed it at your head, and let the trigger be pulled by my finger just as it was always meant to happen.
Once again, an omniscient, omnipotent deity is rendered indistinguishable from chance and human nature.

you've heard the saying, "all it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing?" well, i say that all it takes for evil to flourish is for good gods to do nothing. a god that permits the wholesale slaughter of innocents is not good.

Excuses, excuses. "It's all part of the plan!" "God works in mysterious ways!" Yeah, or maybe your "omnipotent, omniscient" god is a powerless moron.

If God can’t intervene, how can he use any of our actions for this mysterious Plan of his? I mean, how is any of what happened attributable to God then?
