Obama's approval rating may be 25% right now (give or take a percentage point or so). But that of the Repubicans' only possibly credible candidate against him, Mitt Romney, is just 20%

The moderate Republicans? And more electorally lethal for them - the swing-voters.
In their attempt to appeal to the lowest common denominator, re. policies, have these candidates become victims of their own success.
So many people who were staunch Republicans previuously, voted Democrat in late 2008. Precisely because of a 'lowest common denominator' president, the God Emperor of Fucking Up, George Dumbya Bush.
