Self taught people would fall into two categories: People that actually study from reliable sources and gain knowledge through hard work, and then what Glenn Beck does, which falls under the category of "Bullshit Artist".

He himself liked to push that image though. He made a career out of presenting himself as a simple man, born dirt poor in the woods, and having to fight and claw his way through life's hardships.
