I keep seeing Bush being brought up over and over. After just 18 months of hope and change, I am ready to change back! At least Bush wasn't a Marist, even if he was a liberal.

Yes Only The Truth, I'm sick every time I hear his name as well. Oh, that's not what you meant, is it?
And here I thought Bush, his pandering to the conservative base, and his whole policy of 'If you're not with us, you're against us' brought about the party-line and ideological divisiveness that we enjoy so much today. Maybe I'M the one from Bizarro-world today.
The only Marists I know are an order of Roman Catholic priests.
OTT wants another illegal war cos the first one didn't get the oil for Cheney.
BTW,when did Bush convert to liberalism? He lacks the intelligence.
If Bush is your idea of a liberal, who do you consider a conservative? Would, say, Hermann Goering be more in your league?
Funny, I thought Obama went to Columbia University and Harvard Law School, not Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Not only are they still dealing with the shitstorm that was the Bush administration but your next three presidents will still be dealing with it.
Face it, besides hope and change, all you have is disastrous dept after your boys watch
You're WAY off there, buddy. Obama has only been president for 7 months.
And if Bush is liberal, then I'm an Anarchist!
At least Bush wasn't a Marist, even if he was a liberal.
Wow, so that's why fundies think that Obama is a communist: your view of everything is slanted so far to the right that it's practically sideways. I wouldn't be surprised if you thought fascism was centrist.
Just to interject a bit of understanding; the Bush as a liberal bit comes from a small group of wingnuts who are unwilling to acknowledge that jr’s far right policies were all abysmal failures, because as one of my favorite bloggers puts it according to the right “conservatism cannot fail, it can only be failed.”
These delusional people refuse to recognize the fact that their far-right-wing ideology has failed and has been failing for decades, so rather than face that undisputed fact, they blame others, in this case Jr. It’s not that the far-right policies failed, it’s that they didn’t go far enough to the right.
As for the bit about President Obama, clearly this guy was trying to say Marxist, but like most teabaggers and other far right morans, he could not spell it correctly. Besides, we all know that these idiots who scream Marxist and socialist obviously haven’t got a clue what either ideology actually is about to begin with, it’s just scary sounding words to them and they like being scaredy cats.
Translation: "I don't know what the words 'Marxist' or 'liberal' mean, but I'm going to use them because they sound scary. But I'm going to misspell 'Marxist' because I'm a dumbass."
Really, if Bush were a liberal, then I am truly terrified of the Republican party.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
First off, how is this "fundy"?? Second, OP has a point. Obama has been in office, with his party in control of both houses of Congress and hasn't done too much with that opportunity. He squandered his popularity. I don't get to blame my predecessor for problems with my job. Neither should he.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
