Quote# 74959

HAHAHAHA! Jesus' comments on abortion?! How pathetic!!! Do you really think the SON of GOD would support Roe. vs. Wade's decision?!! Hahaha. I pray to God that those who support such a heinous practice burn in HELL. You will. I promise. Christianity is the one and only true religion. Any one who destroys human life to ensure that minorities in the U.S. can potentially live "prosperous" lives will pay for their sins. I have known woman who have had multiple abortions. I told them right to their face that they will BURN IN HELL. There are some lines that a man should not be willing to be cross. If you are willing to kill for wealth, then you will never find any kind of prosperity because God will curse you.

If there were a SON OF GOD (as you put it), he's be concerned with actual immorality, not some half-wit's judgments. Hahaha.

when you pray for people to go to hell, you're violating jesus' edict to "love thy neighbor," as well as to "judge not." what i'm saying is that based on yor own belief system, you're going to hell too. you disgusting sinner.

Do you really think the SON of GOD would support Roe. vs. Wade's decision?!!

Heck no! He'd be OK with the abortion, but he'd follow the principle of Exodus 21:22: make the abortion doctor pay the baby's father for the loss of his baby, just like as if the doctor had caused the loss of one of the father's goats.

I always known Cracked.com attracts raving morons with a right-wing bias, but this is just crazy.

How that website still survives is beyond my comprehension. probably because it cannibalizes other websites' stuff and even its own articles so it won't have to pay for new material.

8/6/2010 2:22:54 PM

I read about the afterlife

Wildcardlx doesn't know about the lord's order in the OT to dash the infant's heads against rocks.

So, I guess the woman whose in hell for having multiple abortions is keeping your God company then.

Um, don't soldiers get paid to kill people?

Except Jesus NEVER commented on abortion, lol.

The bible actually tells you how to cause an abortion if you think your wife has been cheating on you. You make her drink sweepings from the temple floor.

Tolpuddle Martyr

Do you really think the SON of GOD would support Roe. vs. Wade's decision?

First, render unto Ceaser. Second, the bible does not forbid abortion, anywhere! In fact it encourages it in some places. So, in a word-yep!

That's...kind of the point, actually. Jesus isn't on the record as saying ANYTHING regarding abortion (or homosexuality, for that matter). So no, we don't really know where he would have stood on the issue.

Christian love everybody! *rim-shot*

But seriously, Jesus isn't here so I can't ask him his opinion on the matter of abortion.

Jesus' comments on abortion?! How pathetic!!!

Pathetic...that he forgot to mention his opinion on it despite being omniscient and knowing that it would cause Christian denominations to hate each other and cause Christians to murder doctors, patients, and even people that work at abortion clinics who have nothing to do with the abortions at all and are just working to support their families? Yeah, the way he dropped the ball there was pathetic. However, from what we DO know about Jesus, he likely wouldn't command his followers to bomb clinics and kill people. But then again you jerks don't actually follow Jesus' teachings you just use his good name to get sympathy for what would otherwise be considered murder.

"Jesus' comments on abortion?! How pathetic!!!"

And yet you clowns seem to think the Bible addresses everything including abortion.

"I pray to God that those who support such a heinous practice burn in HELL."

Do you really think the SON OF GOD would support your praying for people to burn in HELL?

"Christianity is the one and only true religion."

Says you. I await your proof of that claim.

"Any one who destroys human life to ensure that minorities in the U.S. can potentially live "prosperous" lives will pay for their sins."

So, are you saying you're a racist as well as a delusional idiot?

"I have known woman who have had multiple abortions. I told them right to their face that they will BURN IN HELL."

Aside from being wrong and rude, you really need to decide if you are lying about one woman or several women.

"If you are willing to kill for wealth, then you will never find any kind of prosperity because God will curse you."

A teeny, tiny bit of research will show that there are more reasons for abortions than wealth. In fact, I don't think anyone has an abortion specifically for wealth.

Plenty of "sinners" prosper. The curse of your imaginary friend isn't worth spit.

Wow, it's not very often we get a fundie quote from Cracked. In fact, I think this might be the first one.

Anyway, to the Cracked poster: You throwing a hissy fit on the comment forum isn't going to convince people to take you seriously.

ahuh well all religions claim they are the truth interesting to note that hinduism (while i do not practice it myself but was raised one) and maybe even more view ALL other religions as valid pathways to "god" so in short they treat christians with respect and tolerance ergo treat others how you would want to be treated and then in turn christians spout hatefilled messages about their culture and relgion whats that jesus said "do unto others as you would have done yourself" hmmm just saying

That Cracked article (which was rather interesting, by the way) had nothing to do with abortion. Does this person think it means "lost bodies' work" and concludes that these works would have existed had their potential creators not been aborted?

8/7/2010 3:30:37 AM

Kami

You've never read the lost works. How would you know your prophet didn't make a comment on abortion or contraception. It's a hypothetical question, you twit.

"HAHAHAHA! Jesus' comments on abortion?! How pathetic!!! Do you really think the SON of GOD would support Roe. vs. Wade's decision?!!"

For starters, Romans 13: 1-7 says you're going to Hell for saying this. Also, to my knowledge, Jesus didn't say jack shit about abortion in the Bible. A case of 'WWJD'? Before you think about that, think on this:

Revelation 22:18-19

If anything, the fact he didn't say word one about abortion in the Bible - certainly not condemning it - means that therefore, by definition, Jesus condones abortion. After all, remember Matthew 5:18:

Matthew 5:18 (KJV): 'For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.'

Which means that everything in the Old Testament has to be obeyed (lol, Leviticus; homosexuality a no-no*, but wearing poly-cotton clothes, working on a Saturday, and eating pork chops & prawns etc are fine. Cherry-picking for Jebus) and observed. So care to explain this? (emphasis added):

Hosea 13:16: 'Samaria will be held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword, Their little ones will be dashed in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open.'

The 'God' you worship is an abortionist. Your own Bible says so, which is the 'Literal Word of God' after all. Thus, by definition (further condemned by the fact there's not one mention of his condemnation of such in the New Testament) Jesus is Pro-Abortion too.

I love the smell of destroyed arguments in the morning. Smells like... victory.

*- Leviticus 27:34: 'These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.'

But no mention of homosexuality, or the condemnation of such, in the NT. Least of all by Jesus. Ergo, Jesus is Pro-Gay too. He did hang around with twelve men (two of whom were sailors), didn't marry a woman, and wore a dress after all. QED.

"If you are willing to kill for wealth, then you will never find any kind of prosperity because God will curse you."

Is that why America is not winning in Iraq? It certainly doesn't seem to have affected the fortunes of George W Bush. So Wildcard must be talking rubbish.
