they being a friend to you doesnt change the fact what theyre doing is wrong... if that persons supports gay marriage [because they had such a friend] they are not a conservative... next you know your gonna be saying if everyone were a friend of a murderer theyd be pro murder..

And here, all this time, I thought it was a conservative position to defend gay marriage.
I really think it is none of the state's business who I fucking spend my life with, as long as they're a consenting adult. It's certainly none of YOUR business.
Same as interracial relationships, your feelings on the matter are neither desired nor required.
Or which spouse is older, which has a higher education, a higher paying job, a whole lot of meaningless rot that people get up to which the government has no need to regulate. It benefits no one to have the government nose poking into such things.

Unless 'real' conservatives aren't actually into 'smaller government...'

I've met & talked with people who are gay at conventions; I've read Yaoi manga such as "Loveless" and "Gravitation". Still straight. Meanwhile, just over a decade after your so-called 'Opinion', Obergefell vs. Hodges. The US still exists.

Moral: Analogies. You fail at them. But "Loveless" doesn't; the concept of certain characters with catears: they symbolising virginity.
