"All men created equal" doesn't fly if a woman can marry a man but a man cannot. Not to mention that most objections against gay marriage are based on religion, which the constitution explicitly forbids from having influence on laws.

The definition of marriage isn't IN the Constitution. However, giving homosexuals the same rights as everyone else, while not explicitly in the Constitution is in keeping with the spirit of the Constitution. You have the Bible, which is irrelevant according to the Constitution and you have your personal repulsion, which is also irrelevant. You have NOTHING.

The Bill of Rights are the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution, so technically they're part of the Constitution.

So is the 14th Amendment, which in part says "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Applicability to Proposition 8 is left as an exercise for the reader.

I would go with that yes, it did state that you can keep weapons (don't like gun control). But about gay marriage, I think that falls under...

9th Amendment - The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

And since you say there's no definition in the Constitution regarding marriage...

Bill of Rights =/= Constitution. It says so much about a country when more people outside that country know more about it's Constitution than a sizeable proportion of said country's population.

Even the NRA's legislative enforcement website makes no mention of any connection between the Bill of Rights & the 2nd Amendment:

Ah, DuckturdDumb. Not only his ignorance of the legislative basis of his own country, but his own non-sequitur-based stupidity knows no bounds. Besides...

The recent overturning of Prop. 8 in California, based on violations of equal rights legislation in the Constitution (and the resulting precedent it sets, re. other states' laws) proves him wrong.

But if DuckturdDumb is so eager to put so much stock in the Bill of Rights, he should remember:

'WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness--That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed.'

Which includes Gays. 'All men are created Equal' after all. Amirite?
