Atheists, by denying that there is a God by which human beings are patterned and to Whom we are responsible debase all of us to the status of animals. Atheists are not racists, but by implication their system of beliefs is far worse.

Quite the contrary. Human beings aren't patterned after god, "God" is patterned after human beings. The god of the Old Testament in his raving blood thirst is nothing but a mirror of the people who wrote this filth.
We are animals, dingbat. Just because we are the only animals that have made up all sorts of shit for thousands of years as a means of trying to explain our existence doesn't change anything.
That some of us still believe in said shit is not a great advertisement for our species, and one has to wonder sometimes just who is smarter: the only animal to have invented the fiction of god(s), or the others who survive perfectly well without it.
Your God punishes indiscriminately for trivial deeds, providing loopholes for sycophants, and forgot to actually condemn rape and slavery as evils akin to adultery, murder, and false witness. He is a piss-poor source for a moral code and an awfully unjust judge. To say nothing of the racists who have used "the curse of ham" as an excuse for racism/explanation for black skin. To say nothing of the antisemites who cried out "Christ-killers!" for centuries. To say nothing of the child abuse in the name of not "sparing the rod" and of the subjugation of women in the name of assuring that men stayed in charge of the household, as the Bible describes.
Shorter version: don't throw stones in a glass house.
We don't just deny that there is a God, we deny the existence of all gods, goddesses and other deities.
What "system of beliefs"? "There is no evidence for the existence of any deities, and until such evidence surfaces, we will live as though there are no deities". That's about it. What can you "implicate" from that, that is worse than prejudice, discrimination and persecution against people of certain ethnicities and/or skin-tones?
