We'e not like your followers, Padre: we don't take every word you say on faith. Bold claims require bold evidence. Gonna have to present some for your claim, or you could have a slander suit on your hands.

I tend to think that orphans would much rather be adopted by gays than by no one at all, even pretending they're as bigoted as you (and in my experience, kids are much more tolerant than adults). Not to mention study after study has shown that gay couples are just as capable of raising kids as straight ones, and that kids adopted by gays are themselves no more likely to be gay than anyone else.

If it were a choice between that or being raised by fundamentalist Christians, I'd take being raised by a gay couple in a heartbeat.
If I had been orphaned and I had to choose between a homosexual couple that loved each other and wanted children for the sake of the children and a heterosexual couple that spent all their time arguing, were together only because they didn't believe in divorce, and wanted children in order to satisfy some self-righteous desire or because they thought a child would help "fix" their relationship, I'd have chosen the homosexual couple hands down. Because the most important trait for a parent to have is a loving nature.
to say nothing of the other options, which are worse, ending up in an orphanage or on the street.
My dog is more in tune with the real world of today than most church officials - even the big daddy Joseph Ratzinger.
If I were a young boy and I was given the choice between being adopted by a pair of homosexuals (of either gender) or being placed in the tender loving care of the church, I know which I'd choose. It wouldn't be the freaking Catholic school of buggery, that's for sure.
I wouldn't mind being adopted by lesbians or 'fags' if it meant going to a good home. A lot of people agree with me on this one, which is something you would know if you talked to anyone other than your fucked up friends.
You go try living in the foster system or an orphanage, and then let us know if it's preferable to having parents who happen to be the same gender.
I know at least 3 gay/lesbian couples who any child would be lucky to have as parents. They're kind, caring, hardworking and keep beautiful clean homes in safe, community oriented neighborhoods. What more could you want for a child?

This dickhead (earlier in the report) equates the harm from legalising homosexuality as worse than the harm from drugs. This is in Mexico during the worst drug wars you could imagine with thousands of people killed.

I would not like to be adopted either, I'm rather happy with my biological parents.
The point is; what you grow up around will be the natural thing for you.
I'm thankful for my parents. But if I was ever an orphaned, I wouldn't care if I was adopted by heterosexual, lesbian, and gay parent.
I, for once, am gladly surprised that my country being as catholic as it is, is letting equal rights advance.
As for the church officials; if I was an orphan child I would be glad to let a loving couple adopt me, no matter their genders.
