In the highly unlikely event that God exists, I seriously doubt that he would be too impressed by prayers for death and destruction to be showered upon defenceless people simply because they read a different holy book.

Given the latest news from Lords, I'd button up about the cricket, though. It would only give these fools even more reason to pray for every kind of disaster to hit Pakistan because, you know, if a couple of guys allegedly cheat at sports a million of their countrymen deserve to die for it.
Many of God's servants, or Christians, have died as martyrs knowing they have served God. I guess what I'm saying about "killing Christians humanitarians" (as you put it), or even God fearing men and women, has happened since Cain and Abel. Putting a humanitarian effort out is God's will and should be exercised at all costs. Remember, if only one out of all the millions of non-Christians in the world today, were to come to Christ at this moment, the angels in Heaven would rejoice. We don't need to, and simply can't possibly worry about every single non-Cristian, muslim, atheist, etc. out there, but perhaps if every Christian could dedicate him or herself to just one, it would make all the difference.
