A real Christian would never attend a church with a pastor like Jeremiah Wright.
A real Christian would NEVER support a bill that allowed newborns that survived abortions to die from exposure/starvation...
Barak Hussein Obama is ANTI-CHRISTIAN, and quite possibly muslim...

I'm sorry, I am driven to say this. America, you are nurturing disloyal vipers in your bosom! These fundies want your downfall, if what I read here on FSTDTs is to be believed. They don't want even your type of democracy. They want a repressive theocracy. Now is the time to do something to p[rotect your freedoms from lunatics. Maybe it is time to give them a place of their own and let them religiously rave and rapture themselves into starvation (non-productivity) and death under a hegemony of preachers. It's only what they want - and deserve.
Barak?
Never heard of him.

I guess that will be a suprise to all the christians that do. There is something those of you at "Free" Republic will never understand, you don't get to decide who is or is not a christian and when you try to do so you are saying that you know better than the "god" you claim to believe in.

And what bill is that? When did it pass through congress? Did you "de-christianize" everyone else who supported this likely fictional
Barak Hussein Obama is ANTI-CHRISTIAN
Uh-huh... sure he is, just like you claim everyone else you disagree with politically is.
and quite possibly muslim...
He's not, and even if he was...SO FUCKING WHAT??? Last time I checked it's neither illegal, nor "un-american" to be a muslim. Regardless of whether you like it or not.
Barak Hussein Obama is ANTI-CHRISTIAN
So then there's a reason I like this guy as president.
and quite possibly muslim
Oh no, you're not still beating that dead horse, are you? And why would it really matter anyway?
Newborns that survived abortions? That must be a really, really small group. Do you really need a special bill for those kids?
If you have a strong enough social security net in place, every abused child will be caught in the net and taken care of, before it can starve to death or die from exposure.
A real Christian would never make false accusations (Exodus 20:16).
A real Christian would never disparage his government (Romans 13:1-7)
A real Christian would love Obama as he loves himself (Leviticus 19:18).
A real Christian would not judge (Matthew 7:1).
A real Chriatian is recognisable by their "fruits" (i.e. deeds, Matthew 7:20).
So, how do you measure up, Maverick68?
Since you're all so unified.
How about you all deciding what a "Real Christian" is?
Since you're all so unified.
How about you all deciding if Palin's preacher is a "Real Christian"
Catholics will shut you all down. Your nothing compared to the mother church, the people who invented it.
I'm an atheist but I know who created it and outnumber any other, and that the rest of you can't outnumber them because you're fractional, insignificant johnny -come-latelys
The Tea-Party crowd regularly attend such churchs or bring their clergy to speak at rallys. The KKK and Arian Nation being regular vendors of racist material at Tea-Party events.
Jeremiah Wright has a problem with how black people have been treated and are treated to this day, just a couple of reasons above. I'm sorry, my white-bread racial brother, but I get their hatred.
You get a few of Jeremiah Wright's most critical comments on white peoples (actual) actions over the years and you're screaming racism. Yet you get the white racist long ongoing attacks on all other races and pretend it's nothing.
Obama handled this one well. He didn't apologize for Jeremiah Wright's comments (they're not Obamas) and pointed out that that's an earned opinion of the older generation of blacks who faced worse than their children.
The people who they faced that bigotry from are still alive too and nueturing the modern KKK, Arian nation and Jesus was white crowd.
I notice how the racist white people have nation wide media access and their message of bigotry is a thousandfold. Chris Rock could mow all the white people down with an AK-47 at a concert and it would only be a singular largescale example of bigotry
@ Canadiest --
The worst part is that the endlessly-quoted bits of Rev. Wright's sermon weren't attacking white people, or even directed specifically at white people -- he was talking about all Americans, including himself and his congregation . The whole point of the sermon, if you hear more of it, is that Americans have collective moral obligations which we aren't meeting. In order to frame the sermon as "anti-American", the GOP types had to insist that Rev. Wright didn't consider himself American (and thus wasn't directing criticism at himself ); the sad thing is that so many people were willing to believe it.
Confused?
