Who in their right mind would mock scripture? Who would take the piss out of beauties such as the ones that commend the stoning of cheeky children? Spoilsports, that's who. Reasonably well adjusted people who have no business interfering in the interfering ways of the fundie. Normal people who hope for the best for their children and who decry the fundamental cultists' desire for godly mayhem. People of honesty and integrity who seek to mock the lying ways of the mammon worshiping deceivers who like to interpret scripture so that it favours heavily laden wallets. He "mocked" scripture by pointing out a couple of nasty passages in Leviticus and Deuteronomy (slavery, stoning of children) and asking whether we should mold public policy on those or if we should be following the Sermon on the Mount. Then he made a crack about the Department of Defense finding that to be too radical.
Glenn Beck got his panties in a wad because Obama was questioning the wisdom of the Bible and America's founding principles. (Apparently Beck is all for slavery and stoning.)

Show me one instance where Obama has mocked scripture. I'm sure no matter what he's said, it's not nearly as bad as those who claim that God hates certain people based on scripture.
