The man is a tool of Satan (and as you know I believe he's much more than that) and he will do and say whatever Satan wants him to do and say. Of course he mocks scripture, Satan hates The Word of God. He will one day pay for those remarks and for other things he's done and said. I pray for his children.

Who in their right mind would mock scripture? Who would take the piss out of beauties such as the ones that commend the stoning of cheeky children? Spoilsports, that's who. Reasonably well adjusted people who have no business interfering in the interfering ways of the fundie. Normal people who hope for the best for their children and who decry the fundamental cultists' desire for godly mayhem. People of honesty and integrity who seek to mock the lying ways of the mammon worshiping deceivers who like to interpret scripture so that it favours heavily laden wallets. Their own wallets, of course.

Again, you know this how? People much like yourself have claiming and attributing evil or "satanic" motives to polititions and public figures you dislike for decades. But when it comes down to it your motives are neither religious nor altruistic, but rather selfish petty character assassination meant to defame a politician to advance a decidedly partisan agenda.

He "mocked" scripture by pointing out a couple of nasty passages in Leviticus and Deuteronomy (slavery, stoning of children) and asking whether we should mold public policy on those or if we should be following the Sermon on the Mount. Then he made a crack about the Department of Defense finding that to be too radical.

Glenn Beck got his panties in a wad because Obama was questioning the wisdom of the Bible and America's founding principles. (Apparently Beck is all for slavery and stoning.)

I watch these things so you don't have to. /martyr

Show me one instance where Obama has mocked scripture. I'm sure no matter what he's said, it's not nearly as bad as those who claim that God hates certain people based on scripture.

And wouldn't it be extremely hilarious if Jesus did return and he was black or a dark-skinned Middle Easterner? I'd love to see the look on the faces of the fundie Christians.

@ Boy Wonder: If he did 'reveal' that he was Jesus, I think Tami here would have a lot more to work with than she ever has before on the Satan front. I mean, who reveals stuff like that?
