No, they set up charitable organizations like the Bill & Melissa Gates Foundation.

And before you go on about how Christians all build hospitals, you do know they're all run as for-profit enterprises, don't you? There's not one I've seen that gives all their services for free out of the kindness of their hearts because they're Christians.

The World Cup is serious business. Even more so than teachers not being allowed to force kids to say prayers. Won't somebody think of the poor innocent children not being instructed to do prayers!? The atheists may be getting there evil, nefarious way there, but so long as an atheist team doesn't win the World cup, everything will be A-okay.

@ Mudak - Lance Armstrong? I'm sure a fundy argument is that cycling is gay (look at the spandex!) and the Tour de France takes place in . . . France (those liberal frogs!); therefore Lance's wins don't count as sports championships. His atheism is also why he got cancer. God was striking him down.

How I can't stand these people. I've read so much of their stupid crap I can anticipate their reaction to counter arguments.

Is it self-centered to think that all people have the right to free/affordable adequate medical attention when they are sick? What about thinking instead that everyone only gets the medical attention he or she can afford?

I want to be free not to be forced to say prayers I might not agree with, thus by the teachings of Christ I must ensure others are not.

Thus, by the arguments of Schafly, Christians who follow the teachings of Christ are Atheists.

I'd love to write a nice comment for you guys but I'm actually headed down to my volunteer position with a local drug awareness charity, getting young kids off the streets late at night and providing them with referrals for crisis accommodation/counseling/rehab, options for them to get home safely, proper information about drugs, alcohol and sex, a friendly shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen to them...
