Question to athiests, why are you so against there being a God? and being a atheist(not beliving in a God) kinda proves that there is one because you cant have a anti nothing. Such as there are anti rock people because there is rock music, but there are no anti (lets say) holograph people because there is none.

You are a fucking moron if you think that you just postulated a valid argument.
You have the belief god exists, that makes you a theist. We have the belief no god exits, thus we are atheists.
Get yourself a fucking dictionary (as well as a clue).

Anti-rock people don't believe that there is no such thing as rock music. I'm not against there being a god, I just see no evidence that one exists.

We are not "against" there being a god anymore than we are "against" there being unicorns. We simply see no evidence. We are not necessarily anti-god either, and being against something does not prove the something in question.

Also, holographic imaging does work. It's just ludicrously expensive and inefficient right now.

No, atheism does not prove God. Atheists believe that there is no God. Were there conclusive proof of any given God, they'd probably convert to the religion of that God.

So now all my gods exist because atheists, Muslims, Jews, other Pagans and Christians don't believe in them. This is using your logic

Not only is there no evidence for a magical entity in the sky, there is no need for such an entity to exist.

im not "against" there being a god, there ISNT one...

if there WAS, then there would be a single scrap of evidence, which there is not...

if the Abrahamic god was proven beyond any doubt to exist though, id be its enemy since its evil.

if the devil existed, it couldnt possibly be THAT bad, since its the enemy of the evil god.

Well I'm sold! Gonna start worshipping ASAP. Sheesh there goes my social calendar. I'll barely have time to eat and sleep by the time I'm done worshipping the thousands of gods who I formerly didn't believe in.

Do you believe you're stupid?

- No.

Well by believing that you are not stupid you must actually hate being stupid, meaning you really are stupid, so you're just denying your stupidity.

- WAAAH!

Well, I believe in the Emergency Medical Hologram on the spaceship Voyager, so you lose extremely. Or something.

Personally, I'm against the development of sentient tactile holographs because they pose a civil rights question even more filled with ontological pitfalls than the one around robots. Although it's really the same AI question. Maybe I just hate the stupidity of 'tactile holographs?'

I'm all for unicorns.

Neither of these positions affects the reality of their objects in ANY WAY.

I, for one, am anti-nothing.

I believe we should strive against entropy with all the force and magic and so on at our command, to stave off the heat-death of the universe.

Halo4man, next time you have a thought, just let it pass. You'll avoid looking like a bigger idiot next.
