Castro's speeches are long, sometimes hours long, but they can be very entertaining. I particularly liked his speech pointing out all the ways Bush Jr. acted like an alcoholic. Funny as hell, with just enough medical accuracy to make you wonder.
He might be right about the nuclear war.

The only kernel of truth in this is that Bin Laden did have CIA training.

You know, OBL was a CIA tool not very long ago. The Bush family is in business partnership with his family for two generations.

Oh, Fidel, you fail so much you even lack comic timing. It would have been better if you'd said this while Bush Jr. was still in office.

Osama did indeed recieve CIA funds and support during the Soviet/Afhgan war. that much is indisputable, however, claiming that he was acting a s a stooge for GWB is nonsense.... he was a stooge for Cheney.

Did the Bush administration use Bin Laden and "terror" as devices to advance their agenda? Yes, clearly.
Did Bin Laden receive "CIA training"? Yeah, I guess you could say that, as a side effect of the U.S. giving aid to Afghan insurgents. But he was not specifically trained, much less trained for the purpose of terrorizing the U.S.
Is Bin Laden bought-and-paid for this purpose? No, there isn't any evidence of that beyond speculation.
"Castro said documents posted on WikiLeaks.org […] 'effectively proved he was a CIA agent.' He did not elaborate."
I can't imagine why. *eyeroll*

Osama's ties to the U.S. were indirect at best.

As indeed were the links to every other Mujahdeen group during that time.
The US government used the Pakistani ISI as a proxy to funnel supplies and training to the various groups. AFAIK there was never any direct contact between the US government agencies and the Muj. Nevertheless, the hands that ultimately pulled the strings were sitting at desks in the Pentagon.

That the pentagon controlled Bin Laden or could pull the strings of the Mujahideen is just a conspiracy theory.
For the Mujahideen to be puppets the would mean they would accept being controlled by the Pentagon.
That the Mujahideen would accept that control is implausible. I find it even more unbelievable that Bin Laden would act as a stooge for anyone in the American government.
The idea that Bin Laden was a stooge for Cheney is one I would normally hear from twoofers.

This could actually be very true for all that any of you know. You act like Fidel is going senile, but this makes more sense than anything the government has told us about the war.
I think we should put up the government's version of 9/11 up here on CSTDT.
Look into history and see that almost always the public is lied to by their leaders for a separate agenda, and the majority of the public, due to nationalism or pride or whatever, totally believes it! Why should this trend end now?
Everyone is also trying to bring up lack of proof. Yeah, let's just go look up the CIA agent database because everything the government does is available for us to see. No, actually the government for once has done something right, because all of you are convinced that these claims are false. We'll see what the history books a few centuries from now will say.

Yeah, funny people brings up that there is no evidence for these crazy conspiracy theories.
Stony is a fitting username given that BS sounds like something a someone that is stoned might write.
Only question is were you a stoned twoofer or stoned troll when you wrote it.

I laughed when I read articles about Castro's conspiracy theories. IIRC, he's bought into the whole "New World Order" theory that the UN, Bildeburgers, Jews, Illuminati, and other groups are trying to take over the world and establish one world government.
