Quote# 75924

Those who imagine that the history of the nonsense that is evolution goes back only 150 years are mistaken. The evolution deception is the worst in the history of mankind, and its roots go back to Egyptian and Sumerian times with a history dating back thousands of years. Pharaoh, the most heretical and oldest representative of Darwinist philosophy, was a materialist who believed that all living things came into being by chance from the muddy waters of the Nile.

The essential philosophy of the theory of evolution has been based on the same distorted conception ever since ancient Egypt. Darwinists in those days who adopted chance as their false god and those alive today all worship the same false deity. The Darwinists who once believed that life emerged from the muddy waters of the River Nile today claim that the first living cell came into existence out of muddy clay. Although the proofs of Creation were just as explicit and clear in those days, too, Pharaoh waged a ruthless campaign against them, and that same state of affairs still applies today. Today, 250 million fossils proving Creation are on open display to all. But just as in the time of Pharaoh, that same Darwinist mindset opposes the scientific facts with a terrible rage and anger.

In ancient Egypt, the Prophet Musa (as) opposed Darwinism, the most heretical and superstitious religion in the history of mankind, with great and definitive proofs of Creation. Under Allah’s command, the Prophet Musa (as) cast his staff down onto the ground before the eyes of Pharaoh and his men. Through the great might of Allah it straight away turned into a snake and swallowed up all the false evidence of Pharaoh and his men. THROUGH THE WILL OF ALLAH, A WOODEN STAFF TURNED INTO A MOVING, EATING AND FLAWLESS SERPENT. This extraordinary evidence took place before the eyes of Pharaoh and his men, and was created to be undeniably magnificent. Yet Pharaoh’s denial, despite this explicit proof, shows the scale of the disaster to which the Darwinist mindset leads.

Was that not just the most rambling bit of nonsense you ever read? Darwin didn't exist until the 1800s. Darwinism isn't a religion, and certainly wasn't even thought of back in the days of the Pharaoh. I didn't know anyone was this stupid.

Those who imagine that the history of the nonsense that is creation goes back only 3000 years are mistaken. The creationist/intelligent design deception is the worst in the history of mankind.

Are at least four separate Egyptian creation myths. Each featuring a different set of God or Gods doing the creating.

The oldest one is very genesis once with the parting of the waters to get the first dry land. Kind of makes me suspect a common source there (though I don't known enough to speculate what that might be).

Really I doubt that any Pharoh would see Evolution as an appealing theory. Like any other theocretical Despot they would see it as a threat to their authority and position.

So, how much opium did you take before writing this?

9/9/2010 9:28:22 PM

Harun Yahya makes Kent Hovind look rational. That's really sad.

Turns out this is some Turkish cult leader, who thinks everything work in the world is the result of a Zionist / Freemasonry plot.

Darwin's Lil' Girl

I wonder how many Christian fundies unwittingly agreed with the first two paragraphs, then declared Harun Yahya was wrong and a heretic when they read the last one.

Is this guy serious?

So... Are we having a creative writing competition? Can anyone join, or do you have to be pathologically insane?

Nothing could be more definite proof that the universe is a creation.
Except possibly if Moses had pulled a rabbit out of a hat.

@DevilsChaplain: I read the Wikipedia entry you provided. Holy Sh--! This man is a living Trifecta.

I sincerely expect (and fear!) to hear more from him in the future.

It's well documented that Charles Darwin never quite perfected his Flux Capacitor, so never got to go to ancient Egypt.

Dr. Emmet Brown eventually perfected it but unfortunately only managed to go back to the 19th Century U.S.

If God was so concerned about what the Pharoah believed then wouldn't God have instructed Moses to say something about THAT topic instead of "Let my people go"?

9/10/2010 5:34:23 AM

The funniest thing about this is that he doesn't mention that according to the bible story it was the Pharoahs magicians who first threw down their staffs and turned them into snakes. Moses then threw his staff down, it turned into a snake and ate all the other magicians snakes/staffs.
So according to the bible, there is magic! Or other gods! Actually the bible basicly admits that there is other gods. "thou shalt have no OTHER gods before me".

I'm loving the way this is written from a Muslim perspective, especially as the Muslim religion is one of the most recent, and the Ancient Egyptians had been dead for thousands of years before it was dreamed up.

9/10/2010 9:16:39 AM

"Me" is correct. Mr Yahya conveniently did not mention that the "false evidence" that was eaten by Moses's staff turned snake were other staffs turned into snakes. The lesson was that Moses's snake ate the others hence God was more powerful than the Egyptian gods.

So yes, Judaism does not negate the existence of other gods nor does it exclude people from heaven for praying to them; it just states that the God of Abraham is the most powerful and creator of everything.

Chihuahua. Great Dane. Clydesdale. Mini Horse.

We win, and with a lot less gas.

Staff into snake trick: 400 shekels at the local bazaar. The ancients were ignorant, not incapable. Hand-made versus mass produced. Helps to have a robe with big sleeves too. Bullshit is a concept that predates Islam.

The Jamo

Wait a second. I thought fossils were false evidence planted by satan to deceive people? And now they're evidence in support of your point of view? What the fuck?

The Duelist

Which Pharaoh, moron? There were thousands of them.

9/10/2010 6:17:02 PM

Which pharaoh? - if memory serves, it was Sun Ra and his Arkestra.

As for spontaneous generation (horse hair turning into worms, etc.,)that idea was gone by the time Darwin came along.
