1) Who invented gravity?

2) Do you really find it easier to believe we all came from 1 organism and just happened to mutant into the most incredibile life form on Earth?

1) Who invented gravity?

Whoever it was, the guy was too stupid to get a patent on it, so we can all use it without paying him a dime.

I find it easier to believe we all came from one orgasm, repeated 6+ billion times all over the Earth. Except for fundies. They came from dirt and return there as often as possible.

They ARE mutating stil, as well as still. Case in point: Sallyjo was once someone's cute little girl; now she's a dumb bitch who posts bull poop on Yahoo answers.

1) No one.

2) How easy or hard it is to believe something has nothing to do with it. I go by whatever has the most evidence which, in this case, is evolution by a long shot.

3) They are.

Now it's my turn.

1) Who created god? If he can exist without a creator, why can't the universe? Both are purported to be the source of all physical laws without necessarily being subject to them, so what makes god the exception and not the universe?

2) Do you really find it logical to believe that god would need to sacrifice himself to himself in order to force himself to let some people into heaven? If he wanted to end sacrifices and give people a way into heaven, why not just snap his fingers and make it so? If he won't permit 'sin' to enter heaven, why can't he 'purge' all sin out of everyone after they die, so all can go to heaven?

3) Why do biblical-style miracles no long happen? Is old Yahweh getting lazy?

1) No one. It simply is.

2) In what way are we the most incredible life form on earth? Many species are much better adapted to their environments than we are. Apes are just as intelligent (and like us, have opposable thumbs), polar bears and penguins can regulate their body temperatures to withstand sub-zero climates, bacteria and viruses can live literally anywhere.

3) Are you blind? Lungfish, Northern Snakeheads, tuberculosis, antibiotic resistant bacteria, thousands of years of observable changes in humans, horses, sharks, elephants and other animals. How can you have missed this? All living things continue to change and adapt to suit their environments, every day. Life mutates, adapts and evolves. That's what it does.

If I asked the same question from any god, and in their divine wisdom they said "I dunno, man, was just this way when I got here, dammit", I'd be perfectly cool with that. I don't think gods should be taking credit for things they didn't do.

Did your god invent gravity, or just take credit for it? The theories of gravitation are not very well defined in the Bible, and scientists had to do most of the footwork.

Would you believe if some guy boomed at you from top of a cloud and said "heyest dude, I hast verily startedest this gravitation thing", without a shred of proof, would you believe it?

That's the incredible part. Let's face it: Had it happened in a single poof, it would have been boring.

But they are. It's just that the effects aren't particularly well visible in short time.

Go ask the guys who studied tens of thousands of generations of bacteria over decades. Actually visible results.

1) Isaac Newton. Didn't you know? Everyone and everything just floated off into space until he put a stop to it.

2) What, didn't you get the memo? The world used to be run by super-intelligent robots (who, through an unfortunate space-time error, were all programmed according to Assimov's three laws of robotics). Deciding that without humans there was really no point in the laws of robotics, all the robots got together and, using super-cool science, invented all the life we see around us. They were all destroyed by a primitive computer virus that left humans to fend for themselves.

3) The mutations came when the afore-mentioned robots put mistakes in our DNA. All the mutations stopped after the computer virus that killed off the robots.

Nobody "invented" gravity, you twit. Gravity is a function of mass and mass is a function of space-time, and no one really knows what the fabric of space-time is composed of, if anything at all.

Easier to believe than what? God, I presume? Yes, I do. What I always say, in response to this argument, is that low probability does not equal impossibility. Probability says nothing about whether we should or should not have evolved. It only gives you an estimate as to how long it could have taken for something that's clearly inevitable, to occur. If, for some reason, life took an extra 10 billion years to evolve here on this planet, you an I would probably be having the same conversation. The point is moot, though. Life evolved, and we know it did because we're here and we have evidence to support the hypothesis.

3) Why are life form not mutating stil?

They are. All the time. Plus it's not an individual that mutates, it's a population. A mutation is something that happens during gene copying at conception and gestation so you can bet your bottom dollar that nobody will spontaneously grow a third arm, but they can be born with DNA that is different, and in fact, it most likely is. It's a lot more vivid in quickly replicating populations like various insects that can multiply several million times a year.

2) Evolution never points to one solid and perfect organism, it only accounts for change, not progress. You'd understand that if you had a college education to go with ur bible.

3) In the grand scheme of things, the small amount of time humans have existed (Approx 200,000 years) is far too little time for real variation, Other than the skin colors and other small variations. Just think, if 2 people were "made" then how the hell do we have all those skin colors. If you argue that people inherit those things and that it comes from the geographic location, then really you agree with evolution, you just think it works faster. Not sure why fundamentalists don't understand such basic concepts. Its like if all rational people didn't understand that the bible says the earth was created in 7 days and puts a timeline of 6,000 years on it. Hmm... facts.
