Yes it was, it clearly shows that her mental capacity is higher then yours. Not that that's saying a whole lot mind you.

Maybe if these fundies "loved" themselves more often, and "loved" their consenting neighbors more often, they wouldn't be so fucking uptight.

You're right, Shannon! Biblical love isn't about romance--it's about keeping women in their place, and making sure the fundies breed as quickly and as often as possible, the way God intended. For that woman to act like her love for her partner was anything similar to the love felt by God-fearing Christians toward their partners in religious propagation is just absurd!
A side note: "women" is the plural form of the word. The singular is "woman." I know fundies get so much wrong so often that it's kind of ridiculous to pick on little things like this, but it just drives me crazy whenever I see "a women" written anywhere.
And one more thing: I find your bigotry repulsive.

Interpreting scripture to suit yourself renders it worthless.
Oh wait....your lot have been doing it since forever. And there I was thinking you dolts were supposed to take the word of God literally.
Useless hypocrites.

Wait- so she interpreted biblical words to fit her agenda, just like Fundies, and in fact, not just fundies. How about the Vatican too, what makes this interpretation any worse than papal laws strictly punishing the ordainment of women. Intolerance is almost completely fueled by the Church and similar groups. Yet Fundies often talk of some kind of wrong that the rest of the world does, be it Muslims, Gays, Dems, etc, it makes me wonder if there's ever going to be a day that they simply reflect upon themselves.

Actually, I don't really see what's wrong with that interpretation of "Love your neighbour as yourself". Love should be unconditional anyway, and what better way to show this then to fall in love with someone regardless of their gender?

Your mental capacity is exposed as well, Shannon dear. It's scandalize, not scandolize, and a woman, not a women.
What's with the term "lifestyle choice"? All homosexuals don't live in the same style, and none of them chose to be homosexuals.
If you find homosexual sex to be repulsive, then don't have any. What other people do with their lives is none of your business.

FOR THOSE IN NEED OF LOVING (OR BIBLICAL) RELEASE
O Lord of Love and Grace and sublime master of idiocy,
we do humbly ask thee to destroy us most notably.
That when we go to heaven people may remark,
"Did you hear about those people? God destroyed their nation with a plague of Box Jellies".
O my tender Genocidal One, we will be remembered forever, particularly as we have no coast.
O Dear Killer in the Clouds, we do humbly beg that when our time comes, that we may receive of you the most holy of slayings that we may be fully honoured by your ethereal presence. We do beseech thee O Lord, send out teams of door-to-door Godbots to assault our ears and drown us out in nonsensical gabble as they beat us to death with editions of the most holy and loving of story books, the Holy Bible.

Yeah! Interpreting the Bible literally is not very hard! You just have to interpret everything you don't agree with symbolically! For example, "love your neighbor as yourself" obviously means "if you really love them, you pick up a shotgun and kill the whole lot, just like you would kill yourself if you were under the lesbianic spells of Belzebub - aren't you glad you aren't?!"
Don't read the passages in order, either, they have to be read like some kind of crazy hopscotch. For example:
"And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. Then said Jesus unto him, 'Go, and do thou likewise.'"
(Luke 10:37, Matthew 27:5)
I mean, that's as clear as you can get, and obviously the intended message! Now go and do thou likewise.

Doctor WhomBiblical love? I've got your
Biblical love right here.
But don't tell me; let me guess. All Bible verses that cramp
your style (circle all that apply: are old ceremonial laws that were nailed to the Cross, were meant for a specific situation in the church back then, need to be interpreted correctly), right?
