Hey, I don't think that the FBI is coming to take my guns away... that would never happen in a million years. It's going to be the freaking blue helmets that do it. I can't find .223 ammo anywhere local right now. I have a few hundred rounds but that is because I haven't had much time to shoot the rifles lately. I did find some Wolf lately that I'm planning on buying. I have a new toy that needs it.

I think he means the UN peacekeeping forces. You know how omnipotent they are. I, for one, am totally ready to see a bunch of Belgians and Indians descend upon my redneck neighbors and relieve them of their weapons. They should be replacing their dog-stained matted carpet instead of constantly buying more "toys."
You don't fear the union of people that is a town.
You don't fear the union of towns that is a county.
You don't fear the union of counties that is a state.
You don't fear the union of states that is a nation.
Why do you fear the union of nations?
Yes, UN peacekeepers, notice how they've never been able to accomplish that? I mean look at what happened in Rwanda, or Lebanon, or Bosnia.
You can't find "enough" ammunition for two reasons. One, no amount is ever enough for a bloodthirsty paranoiac; and two, right after Obama's election the demagogues started screaming that the Scary Black Man was going to ban all guns, so your fellow paranoiacs started hoarding bullets. They haven't stopped, egged on by ammo makers who are laughing hysterically at your gullibility. The reality that Democrats have never made any such proposal makes no impression on your delusions.
Yeah, sure. The UN will be getting around to taking us over any day now... I've been hearing this for about 20 years or more, but can't figure out why the UN can't seem to get off their asses and do anything the crazies say they're going to do.
Sorry, I rang them to check and apparently no one at the UN gives so much as a mouse sized shit about you, your guns, or your paranoid delusions.
Funny. I just bought a bunch of cheap-ass 7.62x39mm, and some 7mm mag recently. I've been buying ammo at the same gun shop since I was 18 (I'm 33 now), and it's been run by the same paranoid, dip-shit husband and wife team all this time--I think they've been there since the 70s actually. Every time I go in they are ranting and raving about how the government is coming to collect our guns, any day now. As with the rapture, I'm beginning to think that this plan to confiscate privately owned firearms might just be complete bullshit too.
Hunting season is fast approaching. While .223 isn't great for deer, it can be used, and since people are heading to the ranges to site their scopes, what's to stop them from taking some of their other firearms, and having a little fun? .223 isn't too pricey, so it's good for target practice. My bet would be that's why you are having trouble finding it.
I'm convinced Obama is some sort of secret gun/ammo magnate, in on all this shit.
PS. Damn, if I added a gallon of crazy to this post, it'd make it on CSTDT!
And to think it started off so promising. I don't even know who the blue helmets are...

You sir, win an Internet.
btw take a look at this. It is a monument outside the UN bearing the inscription "they will beat their swords into plowshares." Take a good long look at that piece of art. That, my friends, is a PERSONAL firearm. They aren't even hiding a desire to rid the entire world (yes, even down to some random guy in small town America) of his personal weapon. Once they take away the ability for citizens to defend themselves, they can do what they damn well please.

@Adam
The law that congress passed made it illegal for citizens to own gold Eagle or Double Eagle coins. That falls well within Congress' right to regulate what is or is not legal tender. It is legal to have such coins as collectors items (or investments), but it is not legal to use them as currency.
Second, that quote is from the book of Isiah and refers to a time which humans will quit doing stupid things such as war and instead use their tools for constructive things. Sure that sculpture is a revolver but that means nothing. It is symbolic of a hope to never need weapons.
Finally, the UN has no authority to regulate firearms within the United States.

Yet another case of an evil NWO (is there any other kind?) organization somehow letting its super-duper-top-sekrit plans for subjugating the entire world (or at least the bestest, mostest importantest part, the United States of America! HOO-yah!) somehow get exposed in broad daylight in some artistic form or another. (Darn that Denver airport mural!) I guess those evil overlords thought they were being tricky by using a quotation about swords while having a revolver in the sculpture. "They'll never figure this one out, so long as that Adam fellow doesn't see it. He's too clever for us naughty people!"
Confused?
