Nancy Pelosi, Democratic leader and Speaker of the House in Congress, says she wants an investigation of those who oppose the 9/11 victory mosque near Ground Zero in New York City, where two planes piloted by Muslim terrorists murdered 3,000 people.
"I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded," she told San Francisco's KCBS Radio.

I just heard on Keith Olbermann's Countdown tonight that no one ever seems to mention that there used to be a mosque and a prayer room closer to the World Trade Center - they were actually in the second tower!

She and the FBI and/or DHS are looking into it because there have been friggin attacks on mosques around America in the past 3 weeks. The Imam in charge of this community center (it's not even a mosque, not that I would mind even if it was) has received death threats over the past month and there have been calls to try to prevent the construction team from building it.
