Best Plague Ever

Your choices for the end of the world are locusts or lesbians, which do you choose?

Quote# 76041

I want to talk as a mother to the young women today. We know that it's not just the men who have a problem with pornography and I want to say it like this: girl-on-girl kissing, lesbianism is a plague on our society today.

And I want to read the word of God and I want us to pray. Roman 1: 25 says those who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator blessed forevermore, for this reason God game them up to vile passions where even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

I'm going to call on the women and I want to say that it's time for us to repent.

This girl-on-girl kissing, Madonna kissing Britney Spears, and what happened to Britney after that and a lot of other things. I know we're going out over worldwide television. I want to tell you, bisexuality, every kind of perverse thing, the Bible calls this sin. And I want the women of God to kneel down right now and we are going to put a stop to this in our generation and we are going to say "No More!"

And I want to say to you, this gender mainstreaming that says that you don't know if you're a boy or a girl until you have sex with both, boy or girl, has got to stop. If we agree right now that there is a holyness movement coming, we decree in the name of Jesus that men and women are going to be their natural use, in the name of Jesus.

One of you young women want to repent for that, lesbianism?

Nope. =|

"And I want the women of God to kneel down right now"

You sure that's just for all that repenting, hm?

This is really why I hate religion. It allows people to feel entitled to something, just because they believe this fairy tale to be the ultimate truth.

And I want to say to you, this gender mainstreaming that says that you don't know if you're a boy or a girl until you have sex with both, boy or girl, has got to stop,

Being gay typically has nothing to do with the gender one identifies with. I am a gay man and I love being a man. Men have penises, which are a primary interest of mine...so why would I want to be a woman?

Personally, I would rather they didn't.

@macavitykitsune
WIN.

Personally, if my mother came into my room and said this to me, I'd be like, "Mom, are you on crack?"

Doctor Whom

and worshiped and served the creature

I never did that, and I'm still gay. According to the Metropolitan Community Church, Romans ch. 1 doesn't apply to me.

And I want the women of God to kneel down right now

Too easy.

And I want to say to you, this gender mainstreaming that says that you don't know if you're a boy or a girl until you have sex with both, boy or girl, has got to stop.

Then thank goodness it never started. Sweep up the straw when you're done.

NO! NO! NO!

Yeah, feel free to knee down. My shaft of truth and life hasn't been polished in a while, anyway.

I love how her misplaced comma at the end makes it sound like she's addressing someone called "lesbianism".

"Well, lesbianism, what have you got to say for yourself?"

"Oh no, lesbianism, what have you done this time?"

Basically, I'm proposing a wacky sitcom, Life With Lesbianism.

Gender identity comes long before sexual orientation. Most people know before kindergarten what gender they are. I guess you need to be close to puberty before you realize what sexual orientation you have.

As there are gays among other animals as well, it is most definitely NOT against nature to be gay.

9/14/2010 12:10:13 PM

Man Called True

Yeah, Cindy? You got gender identity and sexual orientation switched up near the end there. Transsexuality is a completely different story from homosexuality. In fact, there is such a thing as a post-op transsexual homosexual. (I'd love to see if anyone's studied that.)

That said, all the rest of this? FAIL. If anything, the increasing rise of what you call "sin" indicates we're less likely to fuck our species over.

I'll take the plague of lesbians.

I am bi and I enjoy both sexes almost equally, but in my opinion, women are beautiful, and two women are simply twice as beautiful. Bring on the girl-on-girl plauge and lets all admire the beauty.

"If we agree right now that there is a holyness movement coming, we decree in the name of Jesus that men and women are going to be their natural use, in the name of Jesus. "

You sure that's what's coming? Orange juice isn't just for breakfast and sex isn't just for makin' babies, no matter how much you might want to be a baby factory for Jesus.

I want to talk as a mother to the young women today.

I have a mother, thank you.

lesbianism is a plague on our society today.

Yes. War, disease, hunger, poverty, abuse - and what will kill us? Two people of the same sex kissing.

This girl-on-girl kissing, Madonna kissing Britney Spears, and what happened to Britney after that and a lot of other things.

Actually, she was still on top of her career during that time. Interestingly enough, her troubles started after she got married to that guy she grew up with.

By this logic, kissing women is a life boost, marriage is a plague on society.

Folks, the choice is yours.

She is SOOOOOOOO right. Lesbians are gross. :-/
[/sarcasm]

I think this is the first quote I've ever seen that actually refers to lesbians alone, and not just tacking them on to the end of the rant against gay guys...

"I want to say it like this: girl-on-girl kissing, lesbianism is a plague on our society today. "

Not for those of us who enjoy it, male or female

"This girl-on-girl kissing, Madonna kissing Britney Spears, and what happened to Britney after that and a lot of other things. I know we're going out over worldwide television. I want to tell you, bisexuality, every kind of perverse thing, the Bible calls this sin"

Does that include your judgmental, holier than thou bullshit attitude of telling others how to live? And not everyone is bound to sin as you call it

"And I want to say to you, this gender mainstreaming that says that you don't know if you're a boy or a girl until you have sex with both, boy or girl, has to stop"

Where has anyone but you said that

"this gender mainstreaming that says that you don't know if you're a boy or a girl until you have sex with both, boy or girl, has got to stop."

I'd love to come up with a witty answer to this gem, but, having come a bit late to the party, everyone already said what needs to be said. So... is it too late for the plague of lesbians? ;-)

This post is so deliciously lulzy. I love the award.

And I don't think this lady quite groks what "gender mainstreaming" is.

Nahh.

Sadly, Madonna's kiss failed to innoculate Brit with teh gay. She's how old now, and still dresses like a hoochie?

The second paragraph is so badly written I can barely understand what she's getting at, but am I the only one who notices that part that says "women exchanged their natural use for what is against nature"? "Natural use"? Maybe I'm misinterpreting it, but all I can think of from that is either "popping out babies" or "staying in the kitchen, making sammiches". Please, please don't tell me we have another misogynistic female fundie on our hands as well as a homophobe!

Edit: ...and now I see that she's quoting the Bible. Well, the point still stands. Creepy as heck.

Hmm... sexual and gender freedom, or "holyness"... which to pick... tough choice. I think I'll go with the one that hasn't beaten the individuality out of its followers for generations.

On a side note: Brad Hanon just got a job as a screenwriter. ;-)
