Modern so-called scientists believe in Evolution not that Allah created the universe , so they cann't accept the Geocentric fact!.. Why? .. because if the stars and all the planets orbit Earth and Earth is the center of the universe so the whole universe was created for the intelligent creature that lives on Earth .. Man. They refuse to accept that , they say Earth is a minor planet in the corner of the universe .. a not-that-important planet. and that belief leads to the idea of life on other planets of course! .. They say that as life developed on the planet earth then it may - and very possibly - have developed on one of the other billions. So the idea of geocentric universe gives too much importance to Earth and Man .. and NASA does not want that.

They believe in Evolution : a substitute for Creation and a creator god.
They believe in Planetary Gravity : a substitute for Allah as He holds the Sun and planets not letting them fall on us.
They believe in Heliocentricity : a substitute for an Earth in the Center of the world.
They believe in ExtraTerrestrials (ETs) : a substitute for Man as the center of the universe.

ET, the centre of the universe?

What the fuck are you on?

Also, even assuming the theists have it right...what's to assume (insert godlike being here) didn't go on to create other life on other planets? Other than your own pustulent, bloated dominionist ego, that is? Fuck, you fundies... as boundless in your arrogance as you are limited in your vision.

Since when are scientists saying that the one life-bearing planet we know of is not important? Methinks you misread the memo.
Allah keeps the sun and planets from falling on us?
Hint: try banging the rocks together. It's the first step.

a substitute for Allah as He holds the Sun and planets not letting them fall on us.

Well, thank God for Allah, then, or Chicken Little would have been right.

"a substitute for Man as the center of the universe."

Wait, I thought that is what you cretins attack us "evolutionists" for doing by "believing" in evolution?

Sigh, can't expect consistency from retards I guess.

"Wait, I thought that is what you cretins attack us "evolutionists" for doing by "believing" in evolution?"
Not really what he was saying. He's a Creationist and a geocentrist. The geocentrists, like Creationists, believe human beings to be a special creation from God. That means, according to them, that Earth is the center of the universe with all planets and stars revolving around us.

Allegory for Jesus

Is there a version of Poe's Law that some fundamentalist beliefs reach such a degree of ridiculousness that it is not only indistinguishable from parody, but is so ridiculous that you actually feel sorry for them?

COVIZAPIBETEFOKY

actually, we don't believe in Heliocentricity. The sun isn't the "center of the universe" either.

Smurfette Principle

So-called creationists believe that a higher being created the universe, so they can't accept heliocentric fact! They refuse to accept that, they say that the Earth is the center of the universe, and that belief leads to the idea that they are the center of the universe. So the idea of a heliocentric universe gives too little importance to Man... and the self-centered bigots don't want that.

They believe in creationism: a substitute for actual science and scientific reasoning.
They believe in Geocentricity: a self-centered notion that puts themselves at the center of the world.

---

Yeah, geocentrism is one of the most obnoxious, self-centered, snooty ideas ever, IMHO.

The Geocentric 'fact' runs afoul of the evidence.
Foucalt's pendulum is only one of the many pieces of evidence that exist.
Sure you can work things out as if the Earth is steady and everything else moves in a complicated fashion to give the false impression of Earth's movement. You can do the same thing with a dinghy on a storm-tossed ocean, arguing that it's stationary and the rest of the universe is moving in a complicated fashion, to give the false idea that it's being tossed around by wind and wave. It's a stupid idea in both cases. In both cases its a stupid idea for the same reasons.

Wow. We really DO still have geocentrists. I am amazed.

The book series "The Darwin Awards" proves that humans aren't the most intelligent creatures: Even lions are smart enough to take out the weakest member of whatever they're hunting. Humans, on the other hand seem to want to go for the biggest, or the toughest, then, when they fail miserably, (or die) people wonder why. So no, while I am a theist (Kemetic Pagan), I do not believe that the whole universe, or just the Earth for that matter, was created for Man....... at least not just for Man.

Modern so-called scientists believe in Evolution not that Allah created the universe

Boo Hoo, Cry me a fucking river. Since when did acceptance of evolutionary theory require disbelief in any deity?

so they cann't accept the Geocentric fact

First, evolution has nothing whatsoever to do with heliocentism, they are not even remotely related. Second, Heliocentrism is a fact that can be observed. We can predict the positions of planets and stars in the sky with a incredibly high degree of accuracy, these predictions are based on the heliocentric model and would not be accurate if the planets and stars orbited the earth.

Why?

Because they are not willfully ignorant idiots with a fetish for the dark ages.

because if the stars and all the planets orbit Earth and Earth is the center of the universe

So everything has to literally revolve around you just so you can feel like you are important?

so the whole universe was created for the intelligent creature that lives on Earth .. Man.

How so? A geocentric universe does not in and of itself does not mean that. It's no different than saying "Cats don't like dog, therefore everything as created by god for the benefit of man"

They refuse to accept that , they say Earth is a minor planet in the corner of the universe .. a not-that-important planet.

And who says this? Name them, hell, name one

and that belief leads to the idea of life on other planets of course! .. They say that as life developed on the planet earth then it may - and very possibly - have developed on one of the other billions

The Horror!

So the idea of geocentric universe gives too much importance to Earth and Man .. and NASA does not want that.

Because all scientists in the fields of astrophysics, exobiology, evolutionary biology, etc. all have to answer to NASA, Right? So tell me this... Why would NASA and it's vast conspiracy of scientist not want that?

They believe in Evolution : a substitute for Creation and a creator god.

Evolution =/= Atheism

They believe in Planetary Gravity : a substitute for Allah as He holds the Sun and planets not letting them fall on us.

You don't even know how gravity works, do you?

They believe in Heliocentricity : a substitute for an Earth in the Center of the world.

How do you propose that the earth be the center of itself and what does that have to do with heliocentrism?

They believe in ExtraTerrestrials (ETs) : a substitute for Man as the center of the universe.

What in the name of fuck does that even mean?

Modern so-called scientists believe in Evolution not that Allah created the universe

Modern scientists don't know what created the universe, so you're first statement is baloney. Why should we listen to the rest of it?

9/14/2010 5:52:36 PM

Godbuster

There's no substitution, you don't have any answers to begin with. Everything you guys propose are non-answers. Like what keeps stuff on the ground? Answer: God does. How does that fucking answer the question. All of a sudden anything is plausible, simply because god is implausible. In reverse, it makes just as much fucking sense. God could make everything shoot towards the sky as if gravity didn't exist, so there is no logical conclusion possible, because god doesn't need logic.

With that said, saying god does it all is just as good as saying that you have not fucking clue how anything fucking works.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I BELIEVE in extraterrestrials, but they're a hell of a lot more likely to exist than Allah.

...what? Not once in all of that sis you actually get to the 'why' from the beginning. OK, so we're willfully denying the facts of the matter. What are our motivations for wanting not to be the center of the universe? Less responsibility? Don't have to care about our planet and global warming and stuff because it's just one little world? Come on, throw us a bone.

Um....Where does it say that evolution created the universe? What does the theory that organisms adapt to their environments have to do with creation?

Would it make anybody feel better knowing that he has "scientific proof" that the earth is NOT rotating?

http://mando2u2003.blogspot.com/2010/07/hoax-of-rotating-earth.html

Apparently, the "Michelson-Morely experiment" proves this, although that was not my understanding of what that experiment showed.

Also, there are several Fatwa's declaring that the Sun rotates around the Earth. They are all in Arabic but he translates some and Google will translate some of the linked ones.
