Quote# 76124

You still won't admit that the vast majority of inventions have been American? Look, you have free will to deny basic facts, but your denial is astounding....

If you were genuinely interested in logic, then you'd spend some time reading or translating the Bible, the most logical book of all. But I suspect you're more interested in trying to reject the Bible than giving it equal time in your activities. Am I right?

["I'm Plymouth Brethren, rejecting the bible isn't in my "Modus Operandi"]

"But I suspect you're more interested in trying to reject the Bible than giving it equal time in your activities. Am I right?"

Yeah...you are.

Things I also don't give equal time: Unicorns, Loch Ness Monster, bigfoot, 9/11 conspiracy people, ect.

You get the point there?

Oh and logic fail.

Serph-no-Okami

Sorry pal, but the idea of animals adapting to their environment and the most adapted being most able to survive has always sounded more logical to me then a magical man who created himself, took a whole day to create us and still fuck up and then demand blood sacrifice from himself to himself to deal with his own mistakes which he still blames us for. But then again, reading your sad excuse for an encyclopedia, you have no idea what logic actually means, do you Assfly?

KR

No point reading beyond the first sentence, which is absolute horse shit.

EDIT: Oh wait, i forgot: this came from the founder of "The Trustworthy Encyclopedia" so it must be true. Every bit of it...

Oh Andy....

Justanotheratheist

I nearly choked at the first sentence, scratched my head at the rest of this drivel, and only then saw who had written it.

All is explained. Andy, who has so much belief in the Bible's infallible logic that he's busy rewriting the useless thing.

"Deny basic facts?" No, but I reject your twisted version of reality. Andy Schlafly wouldn't recognize a basic fact, let alone logic, even if they both came up and kicked him in the butt. Which I'm tempted to do, by the way, if I ever get the opportunity. Or...maybe I should kick him in the head, just to be sure I don't hit any vital organs.

Andy Schlafly Speech Deconstructed:

You still won't admit that <ridiculous assertion that, in my mind, somehow would support the conservative cause>? Look, you have free will to deny basic facts, but your denial is astounding....

If you were genuinely interested in logic, then you'd <do something to keep you off of my site>. But I suspect you're more interested in <bizarre misinterpretation of your position>. Am I right?

What's fun is that this works for pretty much anything he says on a talk page. He's so predictable, RationalWiki even has a quote generator just for him! (Unfortunately I can't link to it as the site appears to be down right now... check it out later)

aaa

I am pretty sure continental Europe has always been ahead of you in inventions.

I don't have to try to reject the Bible, it's easy to reject it, if you have common sense.

Television- British
Toilet-British
Telephone-British
Radar-British
Sunglasses-British
Penicillin- A vast team of scientists ranging from German to Hungarian to British (not Alexander Flemming alone).
That is the most awful statement ever

"You still won't admit that the vast majority of inventions have been American? Look, you have free will to deny basic facts, but your denial is astounding...."

Not the vast majority...but a damn good portion. Not that it even matters, but most of the inventions are either useless or have been modified and updated by other countries. E.G. Video Games; invented in 1948; Modified and updated by JAPAN (Nintendo mainly) in the eighties. ATARI was good...but Japan did it better.

"If you were genuinely interested in logic, then you'd spend some time reading or translating the Bible, the most logical book of all. But I suspect you're more interested in trying to reject the Bible than giving it equal time in your activities. Am I right?"

You are right...I have better things to do than translate a book in which most of the original texts no longer exist and the current versions are as fraudulent as your website Mr. Schlafly.
Here is a list I don't give equal time to: Xbox360, Unicorns, Your mom, fairy tales, Santa Claus, Criminals, Stupid people, WoW players, shallow women, etc. etc. etc.
Here is some logic for you:
P1. You don't understand reality.
P2. You deny reality for your own version of it.
C. You are a fucktard in need of a reality check.

"["I'm Plymouth Brethren, rejecting the bible isn't in my "Modus Operandi"]"

And I'm Horus IX, rejecting myths for what the are is in my "Modus Operandi" and you are still a douchebag.

Vast majority of inventions are American? The bible is the most logical book of all?

This must be a message from an alternate universe.

Higgs Boson

As soon as anyone decides to describe any invention as "American" or "British", I immediately know that they are not worth listening to. Inventions are inventions are inventions, and nothing ever devised could ever be inherently "American" in nature.

Schlafly is clearly one of those people who would quite easily have been convinced that there was such a thing as "Jewish" science a few decades ago.

If you find the Bible so liberal that you feel compelled to rewrite the damn thing, maybe your problem isn't in the Bible, Andy.

I read the babble. Now it gets zero time since it's bullshit for morons. And look up who invented the telescope and the world wide web.

The Bible is the most logical book of all? Sorry, Andy, but not even you believe that.

The wheel. The house. The flying buttress. The window--glazed or unglazed. Shutters. Doors. The brake. The rudder. The sail. Kitchenware of all kinds. The boat. The cart. The knapsack. The table, chair, pallet, bed, sofa, chaise lounge, and other kinds of furniture. The compass and sextant. Mapmaking. Writing. Painting and sculpture. Tents. Silk and other textiles. Cooking and baking, and the products thereof. The printing press. Locks and keys. Scissors, needles, knives. Hundreds of different musical instruments. Herbal infusions, including tea. Alcoholic beverages such as wine, beer, mead, vodka, whiskey, sake, and gin. Coffee. Agriculture. Plows, hoes, rakes, trowels, scythes, brooms, mops, dustrags. Swords, gunpowder, guns, armor (plate mail, chain mail, scale mail, helmets), siege engines, castles, cannons, ballistas, catapults, trebuchets. Plumbing (invented by the Romans). I could go on for hours.

All of the above were invented by either primitive people EVERYWHERE, or by Europeans and Asians before Europeans came to America.

Everytime Americans get all up on themselves like on claiming most technology I like tp remind them that the ideals always began elsewhere in the world. Like people moving to that newly discovered continent and bringing that wealth of agricultural and industrial talent with them.

Or do Conservapedia fans think American is a race unrelated to anyone else in the world? Some do I think

Dumbass. Hey, look, someone more religious than you who has a firmer grasp on reality! Schlafly your moron.

How do you go from saying all inventions are American to accusing of denying the bible? That's a HUGE logic leap even for Andy.

What? The US is not quite 300 years old. For thousands of years prior to the birth of christianity, the Chinese made underwater bombs, the Romans had paved roads and flushing toilets and the Greeks had a thriving shipping industry.

You are so poorly informed about history it is truly astounding. And sad.
