Well, all diplomats will be out of a job for a start. There'll be no more heads of state to invite for visits, so red carpet makers will also go out of business. Passport officials will also be looking for alternative employment...
So, perhaps not a good move in a global recession!

I got banned too. One day I signed up to post because of the blatant lies they were spreading about Muslims. I was labelled a troll by some members and deleted before I logged in the next day with all of them complimenting each other that they got rid of another troll instead of wondering why freedom of speech isnt allowed on that board.
It's such a sad place. They sit there spreading lies and misinformation about other people and revel in hatred while calling it love. I dont hate them, I just pity them.

We've never had a "one world government" and almost certainly never will. The closest we came was under Alexander, who conquered pretty much everything in the Old World west of India. But even he didn't conquer the Far East, sub-Saharan Africa or the New World. The EU is simply a competitive economic (not political) coalition in response to the US. We still have the Russian Federation, China, India, sub-Saharan Africa, Japan and most of South America. I.e, most of the planet.
When do you expect Castro, Hugo Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Putin and Hu Jintao to join Obama in ruling the world?
