The reason for this is simply because the planet earth was much smaller than what it is now.
Ahh, the ol' "ad hoc hypothesis" - just pull some unsupported explanation out of thin air.
Six year old: "I didn't break the lamp. Aliens shot it though the window with their death ray". Adult moron's version: "Adam wasn't 6 feet tall. The Earth's gravity was less".

Well, tons of space crud do hit the Earth, but i don't think it's made any real difference in the circumference.

I was the one who submitted this. The rest of the blog entry is equally stupid, so I recommend that all of you take a moment to read it. It's quite honestly one of the stupidest things I've ever seen on the internet.
I wish the other posts were in English, 'cause I'm sure he's said plenty of other dumb shit.

Now...isn't lying heavily frowned upon in Islam? I mean....you can't really believe..... I mean, did you just string together a bunch of words? How did we arrive at 90 give or take 10 or 20 feet? Just.... nooooooooooooooo

Wow...this is crazier than the Methuselah mythology. Wow.

Three pages and no one thought of an Evangelion reference?

Obvious Idiocy aside. If (essentially) no gravity makes you slightly taller, why would less gravity than normal, but more than its own absence, make you super fucking tall?

So where did the earth gain all that extra mass from?
If you visit the USS Constitution here in Boston, duck. Sailors were shorter 200 years ago, and ships were built accordingly. By your logic, they were shorter because the earth was bigger. So how did it shed all that mass, in only 200 years?

Thou art the most boneheaded.

Just Some Guy
>>Gravity is affected by mass, not necessarily size. The earth has not gained significant mass in the past 6,000 years. Even if it were smaller, the mass would still be relatively equivalent to what it is now. That would mean that the force of gravity would be pretty much the same as it is now when you supposed Adam walked the earth.
If the Earth has the same mass but lower radius, the gravity on surface is _sronger_, since you are closer to its center (that is, the term "r" gets smaller in "F=G*m1*m2/(r*r)".

Um, Abu, 90 feet tall? The partial pressure of O2 in the atmosphere would have to be at least 20 times what it is now to keep such a giant breathing. So we're supposed to believe in a tiny, tiny Earth with a massively thick atmosphere just to support your creative myth? Sorry, no sale.

Ahh, the sweet taste of a delusion. Tastes like... crazy.

DOS Et Al
Look, any one who knows my posts knows i hate atheists and anything they say with a passion, but even this is clearly retarded and stupid. Anyone who takes the creation story LITERALLY is a moron. Its a figurative morality tail. This is just stupid nosnsese being pulled out of their asses

Early humans were Zentradi? then the earth grew in mass and size? and then they shrunk? Yea Right!

Demonstrate with real data that the Earth was smaller and gravity was lower and maybe..........
10/1/2010 10:33:29 AM
Have you bothered to calculate how much smaller the planet would be for your theory to be right?, and how could Adam survive in such conditions, were he as you describe?. It's maths, baby.
