[Re. a comic book that has introduced a Muslim superhero.]
backstory of the muslim "super hero"
after a tragic accident while setting up a ied in iraq, taliban terrorist whatever his name is landed in some of the 5000 tons of yellow cake uranium that the liberal progressive socialists refuse to believe had anything to do with saddams wmd program. as the young taliban terrorist who had no connection with iraq was lying in the non existence yellow cake uranium that was not going to be used for weapons according to the left, he absorbed a strange new power from the fictional uranium. his awoke to find that although he was missing limbs that were blown off in the accident he can now survive explosions and reform from a red bloody mist back to his normal state so as to continue to blow up more and more infidels. every muslims dream a reusable terror bomber.

Well it is a superhero story, so of course the 5000 tones of left wing uranium is fictional.

That sounds more like a badly thought out villain for a Jack Chick tract.

The actual Islam-inspired terrorist population is fractional by comparison to the population of Islam in general. However, the Christianity inspired terrorist population is also fractional, set alongside the Christian population. You idiots have them too.
Or have you conveniently forgotten the IRA. The Army of God. Those nice Boer white-supremacists (Forgot the name of the chief group, alas). You have your terrorists too. Every faith does.
When exactly is the last time someone flew a plane into a crowded office tower in the name of atheism? Oh, right. Never. Go back to wanking about fantasies of how all the godless lefties are ruining the world, and you're going to fly in with a star spangled cape fluttering in the breeze to save the day. No tights though, that'd be faggotry, right?
Die in a fire, bigot.

So? It's a fictional character! How can you be upset because of the religious or political or philosophical beliefs or a fictional character? If every fictional character had the exact same beliefs fiction would be incredibly boring.
And yellow cake uranium? First of all, I find it incredible that anyone actually believes that Iraq had WMDs in 2003, especially now that we've been in Iraq for several years. Where the hell are they? Why haven't we been able to find them?
And even for someone who believed that Iraq had WMDs, the idea that Iraq was purchasing yellow cake uranium from Niger is so demonstrably wrong that I would have thought even the world's most pro-war, right-wing nut would admit that they were wrong about this.
@ Xotan:
I don't read all that much in the way of comic books. However, the idea that comic book are just for children or that comic book readers are all idiots who aren't smart enough for "real books" is so completely freaking wrong that I don't know where to begin.
