biblical- adjective. Used to draw comparisons with events of great magnitude.
Just like the fictional events that appear all the time in the Bible, like talking snakes, massive slaughter, people turning into pillars of salt, building towers that piss God off. The kinds of shit nobody sees in today's world.

Of course, billions of years, billions of galaxies, cosmic collisons, supernovas, black holes, etc make even the most overblown story of "biblical proportions" seem like a bar scrap in an Eastern European village.
Funny how your God had the same limits on his knowledge that the people who worshipped him had. He didn't even know the shape of the planet he himself created...not really an "intelligent" designer was he?

Don't be silly! He made map scrolling in the 2.0 version, when we developed sea travel, and got around to a 3D model just in time for us to develop space travel.
