Quote# 77084

No one has to go to football games. And imposing a religion of silence is neutral? No, it's a point of view. Taxing Christians for Godless schools is neutral? No. If there were no God, what would be wrong with Christians taxing, or even eating, atheists?

You could try to eat this atheist but he would likely hand you your teeth, just before he shoved your retarded head right up your arse.
As to the major fail in your logic, if the world believed there were no god, there would be no Christians, moron.

The hell? This makes even less sense than the usual fundy drivel.

First of all, if there was definitive proof of no god, Christians wouldn't exist (one would hope). Second of all, eating people is wrong. You don't need a god to tell you that. I'm not a believer and I've never eaten a person.

Taxing Christians for Godless schools is neutral?

Seems fair. I find christians to be very taxing.

"If there were no God, what would be wrong with Christians taxing, or even eating, atheists?"

Do you ever wonder what makes you say things like that, Andrew?

Imposing religion is bad, whether you're a Christian or a souffle eater.

The Christian religion of silence is Quakerism and, guess what, they would be offended at being forced to pray out loud.

Also Mathew 6 verses 5 to 8
6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

And as atheists don't believe in a God what is to stop them machine gunning stupid, self righteous farts like yourself apart from a much better personal moral sense.

Predators are usually more intelligent than prey, so it would make more sense for atheists to eat christians. We don't because we realize:

(1) that just ain't right, and

(2) many christians (especially the fundies) are toxic. Just reading their quotes is enough to make me sick.

After trying to digest that word salad, frankly the concept of a "CardCaptor Sakura" - "Transformers" crossover (as shown by above pic with Sakura Kinomoto atop Optimus Prime's shoulder) is becoming less & less silly.

"No one has to go to football games"

Try telling that to the fans of Fulham FC. In recent years it's got a growing reputation as a very family-oriented ground to go to, it's recommended by the Church of England, no less. And Tottenham Hotspur ('Spurs') FC has been, for a long time, a big favourite of Jewish football fans in the UK.

Milwall FC's fans are (in)famous as the most vicious, but I think even they would draw the line at eating the fans of rival teams!

Your point, Andrew?

"If there were no God"

In ancient Sparta, the apprentice warriors, along their martial training, were schooled in giving quick, snarky, cynical replies to certain questions (it was the basis of what's known these days as 'Laconic Wit'*). In reply to your question Andrew, I would just say this:

'If.'

Three Words: Pascal's Wager, bitch.

*- As perfectly demonstrated in the Battle of the Bulge in WWII: When besieged in Bastogne by the German Army, General Anthony McAuliffe (CO of the 101st Airborne Div.) replied to the demand to surrender thusly:

'Nuts!'

@Joe Mama

Your paraphrasing of the classic Hannibal Lecter quote earns you a round of applause:

lol "religion of silence."

Yes, because as christians you're all supposed to bellow at the top of your lungs like simple minded redneck women in moo-moos who shout everyone down at football games for not having a prayer beforehand. Gotcha.

The logical leaps are mind-boggling. Football to cannibalism in under 75 words.

For the record, the brouhaha about prayer at football games seems to be strongest in uber-Fundie places like Texas. I attended a CATHOLIC school, as a band member attended just about every football game, and I have NO recollection of pre-game prayers over the PA, regardless of whether the opponent was a public school or another Catholic school.

If there were no God, what would be wrong with Christians taxing, or even eating, atheists?

Seems like this is the difference between atheists and many christians... atheists don´t need a god to know that eating other people is wrong.

Many christians however seem only to be stopped by their fear of a divine entity from murdering or stealing ;)

Let me answer with another question.

Would YOU like to be eaten?

Well for starters its unhygenic. Christians are human beings and so cannot be eaten for fear of prion diseases.
