Remember everyone, it is your duty to have children! There are only 6.9 billion people on the planet. The human race is clearly going to go extinct soon simply because too many people are using birth control and choosing either not to have children or have only a few and focus on their quality of life rather than making more babies!
After all, giving projected birth an death rates, it's estimated that by 2050 the world population will only be somewhere between 8 and 10.5 billion. By 2050! That's in forty years and we'll have only gained somewhere between 1 to 4 billion people. Every couple that uses birth control puts the continued future existence of the human race at risk!

By verdugo's own criteria he is not a real Christian, since he cannot have stayed married till death.
What's more, since no living person meets that criteria and dead people cannot vote, America cannot be in any sense a Christian nation, since not one real Christian has ever stood for, held or voted on any office.
Nor can the constitution have been written by Christians, nor any law framed by them. No church has a single real Christian in its congregation, no street corner bible thumper qualifies, nor does a single Sunday-school teacher, pastor or priest.

If you are not like Jesus in absolutely every way, you're not a True Christian. Let's just face it.

Well, at least you're consistent, although something like maybe obeying the god you claim to worship might work too.

Well, it was awhile since I opened the Bible - but I vaguely remember something about not judging... How's that consistent with "not having God's Grace"?

I think most fundies do a major biology FAIL when you think how wasteful the egg-producing process is (a few hundred of thousands) - and that's without even going to how extravagantly wasteful sperm production is!
From later in the thread:
"191 AD - Clement of Alexandria, The Instructor of Children
""Because of its divine institution for the propagation of man, the seed is not to be vainly ejaculated, nor is it to be damaged, nor is it to be wasted." (2:10:91:2) "To have coitus other than to procreate children is to do injury to nature" (2:10:95:3). ""
So it's an injury to nature to waste sperm? And yet, how many million sperm are 'wasted' each day through not being used? How many are 'wasted' by being really screwed up (many many sperm are deformed)? Given that only one sperm can fertilise an egg from 40 million or more... seems like nature gets more abuse than logic and sense do from the fundies!

That reminds me of a certain Monty Pythons sketch (the one that features "Every sperm is sacred")...although in this sketch it is the catholics who breed like hell because they aren´t allowed to use birth control

How many Christians like that do you know?
Zero. Ignoring the divorce thing I don't know a single Christian that tries to get pregnant at every single opportunity. And BTW, abstinence IS a type of birth control so unless you've been fucking non-stop since grade school then you're a hypocrite. QED.

My grandmother and grandfather had 18 kids. My grandmother was pregnant 20 times (two miscarriages) and stayed with my grandfather until his death. She outlived him by nearly 25 years and stayed true to her faith the whole time.
The problem is she was a Catholic and your retarded kind usually don't consider them "True Christians™".
Another thing, working hard to put food on the table to feed that mob put my grandfather in an early grave. Thanks from your god no doubt.

God doesn't send you children anymore than He makes your glass fall to the floor when you drop it or makes the light reflect off your mirror. The fertilization and development of a baby is a well-known chemical process, just like gravity or optics. Someone who trusts in God to send them children is as stupid as someone who dies because they think God will let them walk on water or drink poison. When the devil told Jesus to throw himself from the pinnacle of the temple and said "If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down", Jesus said "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God". If Jesus was smart enough not to do something totally stupid and trust God to correct his mistakes, maybe you should think about doing the same.

"Telling it like it is"? Why does that include insulting me in the process? I am not "fucking stupid". Save the insulting for the OP, who is the real target in this thread. >_>

My years have taught me that real religiosity resides in the heart and mind of a person. What you show outwardly plays a lesser part than what you really feel inside.
Didn't Jesus say that prayers should be done in private, otherwise you are just doing it for show? I'd say it's the same with all other signs of religiosity.

Yeah, I agree with you verdugo. There's not many true Christians left. I don't know any as you describe them. True Christians are dying out. The so-called Christians that remain are all hypocrites. I suppose God's power is just not quite powerful enough to maintain adequate worshiping levels. Oh well! Nice try anyway.

Interesting litmus test that no priest or nun can pass(well, they can't do that because they're not married). My arachnid sense tells me, though, that verdugo is protestant and probably unmarried.
