I agree with the 2 posters above in that there is nothing about "outcry" or "cry" of Sodom and Gomorrah that implies child molestation. Rabbinical interpretation is that "outcry" refers to either: outcry caused by violence against the innocent (Ibn Ezra) OR the cry of the oppressed begging for liberation (Ramban).
And given the trend of TV content and events in the US, it is highly doubtful that even 80%+ have a problem with homosexuals.

Genesis 19 refers to the possible rape of 2 men by the citizens of Sodom. Lot then offers his 2 virgin daughters to the crowd - so he offers his girls to them and as they were his only unmarried daughters it is likely they were under age.
The only paedophile is Lot who is "raped" by his 2 daughters whilst drunk.

The Lot story has never made sense to me.
If Lot was such a righteous man, why did he offer to let the townspeople of Sodom gang-rape his daughters? If the townspeople were, as some claim, homosexuals, why didn’t he offer himself instead of his daughters? Wouldn’t they have preferred Lot to his daughters? If the townspeople had accepted Lot’s offer, would the angels have just stood by and let the girls be raped? Why did they wait until after the townspeople refused the girls to suddenly show that they had the ability to defend themselves all along? If Lot’s wife was turned into a pillar of salt for looking back at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, who reported the story? How was it that Lot was so drunk he couldn’t tell he was having sex with his daughters but sober enough to perform the act? Why did a righteous man get that drunk in the first place?

Breakerslion, John: Actually, I don't think the author was regarding the incest as "all right", not when you consider the names of the daughters' children: Moab and Ammon. As in the namesakes of two of the Hebrews' biggest enemy tribes. This was, in part, an attempt to pretty much delegitimate those two tribes, by suggesting they originated in monstrous incest.
