They are laying a groundwork for persecuting Christians.
As a Christian, I don't feel the least bit persecuted by not being allowed to drive people to suicide. I usually try not the do the whole "any True Christian would agree with me," but can you really picture Jesus gloating over suicides the way some so-called Christians have been?
As a mentally ill individual who has battled suicide, I can assure you depression is 100% responsible for suicide. Not bullying.
As a somone else who has battled both depression and suicidal impulses, and bullying, I can assure you that bullying definitely does not help.
I have been bullied this year...but I'm not killing myself over it.
And since in this one circumstance, bullying is not sufficient to cause you to consider suicide, obviously this can be generalised to every situation ever.[/sarcasm]
"Hate speech" is bullying.

Not unviersally true, no, but since a) one is too many and b) bullying is despicable behavioiur even if it doesn't end in death, I think we're pretty safe in saying those who engage in hate speech are in the wrong either way.

It's not about bullying at all; it's about taking away our rights to speak of Jesus and the Bible.
Speaking of Jesus and the bible is peachy. Doubly so if you speak of the Jesus who actually appears in the bible, rather than the vicious, nasty one that so aften turns up in you guys' fantasies. The not-so-cool part is things like "The only way im wearin it for them is if they all commit suicide...I also enjoy the fact that they often give each other aids and die."
In fact, let's get some of speaking-of-the-bible in here.
"Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him."(1 John 3:15)
Maybe you guys should try to keep that in mind?

As a sometimes mentally ill person who has battle suicide, feel free to discount me if you wish, but be aware that to do so and then criticise the bigotry of others only makes you look hypocritical.
