Quote# 77533

I know the song highway to hell was written by satan himself. Its his celebratory anthem about going to hell and the people sing along whole heartedly. They wont be singing it when they start burning though.... So many lost souls that he has fooled.

Eat shit and die. I want to see the look on your face while you draw your last breath, and see that there is no heaven or hell.

So, does AC/DC being Satan that make Australia hell?

11/18/2010 8:35:39 AM

Big Jilm

You mean Satan is dead from choking on his own vomit? Damn that must mean Alcohol > Satan > Iron Chariots > God

"I know the song highway to hell was written by satan himself."

I know you're an idiot.

That said, if I ask a stupid question, I'm pretty certain I'd get a stupid answer.

1. Was Broken Hearts Are For Assholes written by Cupid?

2. Was Here Comes The Sun King written by Louis XIV?

3. Was King Tut written by Tut Ankh Amon?

4. Was Jesus Loves Me (This I Know) written by Jesus? (If so, he's a mental pygmy.)

You getting any of this?

@ His4life: the Manson song you're referring to is on High End of Low - Four Rusted Horses - the line is "everyone will come to my funeral to make sure that I stay dead" - I _totally_ want this played at my funeral. :D

So many lost souls that he has fooled.
Yes, his greatest deception was Christianity. How you'll burn for falling for it!

Joe Mama

Once again, fundies showing how Satan is so much more cool of a guy than God.

11/18/2010 10:39:32 AM

Better to serve in Hell than rule people like JulieBeth in Heaven. I almost pity God.

11/18/2010 11:02:04 AM

Satan writes all the best music.

Almost forgot...

When I was in High School (1984-88) I saw all the big metal names of the time in concert: AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Judas Priest. The Satanic Panic was going strong, and at each of these concerts, there were fundies at the doors of the venues and in the parking lots trying to hand out tracts. There were so many of them, and people were just tearing up the tracks and throwing them back at them. The scraps were everywhere in piles. They must have been real gluttons for punishment, these fundies. What a waste of paper.

11/18/2010 11:50:54 AM

Nope. I checked. It's definately AC/DC. So crawl back into your fundie-hole, Alice, uh, Julie!

11/18/2010 12:44:07 PM

Well, AC/DC is from Down Under.

11/18/2010 1:01:53 PM

So I guess Stairway to Heaven was written by Jesus?

11/18/2010 1:18:11 PM

I know the song highway to hell was written by satan himself.

I know the song sounds way too kick ass to have been written by mere mortals but amazingly enough it was.

11/18/2010 1:28:23 PM

Thankfully, some of the people on RR actually disagree with this nut.

11/18/2010 2:46:35 PM

I doubt satan had anything to do with it.
BUT if you take letters from Angus, Malcolm and Bon you get Satan!!!

11/18/2010 2:48:03 PM

TB Tabby

Satan didn't write the song. He just convinced Angus to wear that schoolboy outfit.

11/18/2010 2:55:19 PM

Doubting Thomas

Yeah I remember the Satanic Panic also... came on the heels of the "backwards messages" craze. Seems like those fundies were everywhere claiming that rock & roll was sending people to hell.

I know the song sounds way too kick ass to have been written by mere mortals but amazingly enough it was.

But it's not as kick ass as Back in Black.

AC/DC could even do the Hokey Pokey:

Evolution is pure faith

Evolution cannot be observed or experimented; it is therefore not scientific but based on pure faith or imagination. Many notable academics have noted upon this.

Karl Popper: ‘‘Darwinism is not a testable scientific theory but a metaphysical research program.’’

Michael Denton [On the theory of evolution] ‘‘…as it was in Darwin’s time, a highly speculative hypothesis entirely without direct factual support and very far from that self-evident axiom some of its more ‘aggressive advocates’ would have us believe.’’

Dr. Fleishmann: ‘‘The Darwinian theory of descent has not a single fact to confirm it in the realm of nature. It is not the result of scientific research, but purely the product of imagination.’’

L. Harrison Matthews: ‘‘The theory of evolution forms… a faith on which to base our interpretation of nature.’’

11/18/2010 3:12:21 PM

Oh Jesus, get off. We don't serve your kind here.
P.S. I've never heard of those scientists. Maybe because the rest of the scientific community knows they're crazy? I know some pretty famous scientists who believe in evolution. Maybe you've heard of Stephen Hawking. No? How about Einstien? If not, I'm sure there's a massive list of believers in "Eviloution" somewhere...

Old Viking

I'm looking forward to an afterlife with JulieBeth and an astronomical number of party-poopers and virgins. Oh, and lots of rollicking hymns.

11/18/2010 4:04:07 PM

Oh please... please... let JulieBeth listen to Deicide. Pretty please.

11/18/2010 4:22:13 PM

So you hear 'Satan' talking to you eh? And he says he writes songs and gives them to people to sing? So did 'Michael the ArchAngel' write 'Angel'?
You know there are medications for that type of thing. You suffer from severe delusion.

The ridiculousness will never cease to amaze me.

11/18/2010 4:54:13 PM

Brendan Rizzo

Meh... fundies have been going on about the evils of rock and roll since at least the sixties. If anyone here was around in the fifties, please tell me if they were against it then, too.

11/18/2010 4:54:38 PM

Yeah, fundies think "Highway to Hell" is exalting the devil. And here in NJ, young divorced-mother airheads from Jersey City who go down to Seaside to hang out in the bars think "Jersey Girls" is really exalting them.

Ever heard of sarcasm?
