Why are so many right-wing Americans obsessed with homosexuality? They can't all be repressing their own tendencies, surely. I think it's because America has other problems (e.g. its increasingly fragile economy and heavy dependence on Chinese imports) that people don't know how to address, but feeling they have to do something, they lash out at the current scapegoat.
