And who the fuck cares what the old testament authors thought? They supported slavery and thought you can change a baby goat's pattern by sticking a rod in front of its parents while they shag. The Old Testament can be called a lot of things but 'a reliable source' is not one of those things.
It's time for you to study the Bible and learn from it so you will not be placing any further stumbling blocks in front of people.

As someone on here pointed out recently: If Bible-gawd hated him some homosexuals, why didn't he put it in his top-10 list?
As far as I'm concerned the 10 Commandments is a sham because it does not say a single thing about child rape/abuse. If I was an all-powerful and wise being I think that would have been number one, as children are unable to defend themselves and depend on adults to protect them. Instead, Bible "heroes" do things like offering their daughters to a mob bent on rape.
As for the OP, way to go in admitting that you approve of "gay bashing." I think it is important that all of you come out in public and tell the world what you really think. This would go a long way in finally driving a stake in the heart of this mental illness also known as christianity.
When the world sees that Fred Phelps is not an anomaly but instead the expression of what christians really believe it will be a lot easier to implement our Atheist Agenda and help along the Gay Agenda. Of course, those agendas pretty much say this: Leave us the fuck alone and keep your fucktarded beliefs out of our governments and civil lives.

I forget whether it was here or Slacktivist, but someone said that a probable reason why the fundamentalists harp so thoroughly on homosexuality is because unlike most other sins, this one is something they can usually be sure they've never partaken of. In other words, they can be sure that when they're judged as they judge, they'll get a verdict of "innocent". Things like adultery, avarice, pride, envy...not so likely. As far as they can tell, assailing homosexuality is a perfect outlet for their scorn towards the world's temerity in being imperfect.
