Well, you're wrong, because accounts say that Loughner didn't care much about politics, but leaned to the left. He was no Teabagger.
If you wanted to make it a good conspiracy theory, you could say that since Loughner was a pot smoker, the government is going to use this incident to crack down on marijuana smoking.
I wondered how long it would take for someone to make a conspiracy theory out of this shooting. Next thing you know they'll be saying that he was a victim of mind control and wasn't in control of his own mental facilities when he did the shooting.

Regardless of who did it, the government will use it to take power away from you and further tighten your shackles. You are their slave. They’re getting to the point where the trappings of freedom and democracy are becoming less and less useful.
This incident will be used against you, the American slave, regardles of who did it or why.
You act like no one knows who did it. We know who it is. His name is Jared Loughner. He was a left-leaning libertarian-esque Populist with pretentious delusions of sophistication and logic. Though really, he was just batshit insane, notably for being paranoid about government takeover.

You people don't know the meaning of the word oppressed.
And my god, if some gun regulation were enacted, I don't think it would terribly inconvenience most people. The thing is, banning a high capacity clip is at worse doing an inconvenience to most people. You could argue for cops, but I think that it's a weak argument because of A: Backup, and B: Swat teams, for shit serious enough to require it.
Seriously, how hard is it for these people to compromise and show a little bit of discipline and responsibility in the process?

It is pretty ridiculous how the media has everyone assuming this was politically motivated. As it turns out Loughner's friends say he was not political.
I also think it's ridiculous how everyone has jumped aboard the mental health bandwagon and assume he's crazy. Depraved, obviously but crazy? Not necessarily. He could've done this to get famous. I don't doubt there's underlying mental health issues. Anybody who would resort to something like that just to be famous has issues, but not necessarily to the point of not having any free agency in making the decision. Rather than being psychotic he could have some deep-seated obsession with fame and getting older and feeling too unknown(stories say he was a loner, perhaps he was an involuntary loner starved for attention).

But this is such an excellent example of how guns are useful for self defense, how could anyone ever come to a different conclusion. Through this incident we can see how allowing every citizen to own a gun prevented all casualties.
