Earth was not only the first planet in existence, it was the first object in the universe that had mass.

The earth came first, then the universe was created around it.

Who are you?

A half evolved being, living on a spinning speck of mud, orbiting a fifth rate star.

"Earth was not only the first planet in existence, it was the first object in the universe that had mass. "

You mean it was Katholik?

Although I will agree that Earth is a very old planet, other planets do NOT revolve around it.

AV1611VET really meant to say: I was created first, all the other humans were created to revolve around me.

My dear AV1611VET, I hope you know what you are doing? Surely it is excessively dangerous to let such advanced scientific knowledge be known to the simple people of the world at large? Certainly, the sophisticated and highly educated American people are able to deal with such astonishing mind-blowing concepts like the one you put forward, but the rest of Earth's population is only going to be, at best, confused and, at worst, become agitated and unable to function. Please, I beg you, don't post any more dangerous and advanced scientific theories.

The actual sequence saw certain parts of New Jersey formed first. Then the rest of the state was placed around them, to isolate them. Then, when it was safe, the rest of the universe was formed.

AV1611VET is still active?

He's either a complete nutter, or the most dedicated troll in the universe.

Everything science knows about the universe disagrees with you, every measurement we've ever taken disagrees with you, and every expert that's studied cosmology and astronomy for decades disagrees with you. Pretty much the only people that agree with you are other fundamentalists.

You do realise that all the stuff that the earth is made of could only have come from stars which had already been there for a few years at least?

@Itachirumon:

If the Earth is the first thing to have mass, then you're claiming God does not have mass, but God can do anything so he has to have mass...

Well, God evidently doesn't have enough mass to get his soul pulled down by gravity...or something.

What scares me the most is that according to their member stats he has 1.5 MILLION posts... How in the hell does anyone post that much?

Also, I still think he is the world's most dedicated troll.

Itachirumon et al.: Try to keep in mind that to such ones, "existence" and "mass" aren't perfect synonyms, but rather, "mass" is a subset of "existence". I think the general conceit is that divine matter can do everything mundane matter can do, and more, all while (a) potentially out of phase, and (b) impervious to entropy. Maybe the mass in question lurks in dimensions 5-10? (I know there are serious physics inquiries about there apparently being ten dimensions, rather than just four...) Basically, I think we're better off trying to shoot down AV1611VET's conceit that the Bible is somehow immune to the rigors of logic (the usual case being the idea that circular logic is all right for the Bible), than leave ourselves open as to whether we're in sub-5 Flatland, for lack of a better way of putting it.

If you're on Earth, and you're right, I'd say the rest of the universe was created as a place for God to escape to. In anticipation of your future creation, fearing your impossible stupidity.

@Pervasive: I don't really know how it works, but there was a way to explode your post-count at Christian Forums without actually having to post a million and a half times, and A1611VET took advantage of it. Maybe someone here knows exactly how it worked and can enlighten us.
