Quote# 79012

Most people don’t realize that male homosexuality does not always lean to the effeminate. Historically, male homosexuality was much more often associated with hyper-masculine warrior societies which were usually very brutal and very politically aggressive. The most recent example was in Germany. Hitler’s initial power base when he launched the Nazi Party was a private homosexual military force organized and trained by a notorious pederast named Gerhard Rossbach. Rossbach’s homosexual partner Ernst Roehm, who was also Hitler’s partner in forming and building the Nazi Party, converted the “gay” Rossbachbund into the dreaded SA Brownshirts.

Most people don't think about homosexuality half as much or as often as these fundie douchebags. To most people it's rather uninteresting. The only time they do think about it is when they realize that someone they know is homosexual, then they think about it a bit and most just add this bit of information to the knowledge about that person.

Most people don't think about Hitler half much or as often as the fundies do, either.

As soon as I got to the word "Germany" I knew it was Scott Lively. This pissant should be in prison for the shit he's pulled in Uganda.

and here I thought he'd bring up the Spartans (who actually did have quite a bit of man-boy love going on in their culture)... but nope, it's always the Nazis with these guys

congratulations, you mention militant homosexuality, and totally miss the Spartans. I frankly admit not to knowing if it's true, but considering your arguments I really dont think that would matter to you....

So let's see if I get this straight... Hitler, whose first acts were to isolate, imprison, and often execute the Communists, Socialists, Social Democrats, Jews, cheap immigrant labour, homosexuals, intellectuals, mental patients, and other 'undesirables' (roughly that order) all of whom he claimed actively undermined the fabric of their glorious Christian nation was actually totally cool with being checked out by the muscle men?

Was this before or after making Islam their offical state religion? (Or whatever other audacious retcon will soon be attempted on history.)

The mental image this conjures up of gay Nazis is so hilarious and tragic that it brings tears to my eyes.

*scene- On board a Freudian pink Zeppelin with Swastikas emblazoned on the sides in magenta.

There is a dining room decked out in the gayest fashion imaginable, with sculptures standing in between tables covered in brightly colored fruity drinks and hors d'ourves. Nazis in dress uniform mill about.

Hitler:(wearing a pink scarf) So how's the invasion going, dears?

Wilhelm: Oh, FAAAABULOUS, darling. The French are practically bending over for us! Tee-hee!

Goering: There's nothing to worry your little head about, mein Führer, honey. Our lüftwaffe is so much more stylish and has better color schemes than those positively DRAB Allies.

Hitler: Terrific. Now we can finally take over Europe and clean out all the filthy... architecture! Nazi art galleries and bars shall rein supreme for a millennium!

Generals: Sieg Heil! *limp wrist*

They're almost as fond of shoving words into the mouth of Hitler as they are pretending Jesus agrees with them.

I love how people think that there's some kind of secret club for gay people.

Yeah, the Nazis did love homosexuals, albeit only in a "Christian love" sort of way. As in, they're different from us, KILL THEM ALL!

10/27/2012 3:14:13 AM

You do realize that homosexuals were killed in the Holocaust, right? Of course you don't. 'Cause you're a moron. I suggest you actually go out and research these events before you try and inundate us with your insanity.

Good day, poor moron.

Ok, why did he send them to a concentration camp?, to give them a private session?

So, you don't want the brutal, hyper-masculine warrior sector of society in your military because...?

2/28/2013 4:00:49 PM

Well, it's true that Ernst Rohm was gay, an open one by the way, but it's also true that he was eliminated in the long knives' night. On the other hand, it's surprising the number of gay fascists, among them Pym Fortuyn or the former leader of the BNP, to name a few. However, it's illogical and far fetched to say that they orchestrated the holocaust, since they sent gays to concentration camps.
Indeed, I had to translate into Spanish some papers on sociology which explained this curious phenomenon. First of all, gay people, at least in the past, didn't marry and make children which meant that, without bond to family, they were more free to dedicate themselves to politics. That is something that the parties appreciated, as long as they were discreet in their encounters with the same sex. Otherwise, they were against homosexuals because of ideological and social reasons. Second, because those guys were uncomfortable with their homosexuality and they found in this violent ideology and way to release their frustration that they were not "normal". It was also a way, an exagerated one indeed, to scape discrimination and ridicule.

First, Hitler was an atheist. Now, he was gay.
Not going to be surprised if they somehow try to link the formation of the ACLU to this guy.
