Quote# 79019

ALL injuns must acknowledge the crimes of the indians of the past, and recognize that NOTHING happens on earth except God ALLOWS it. It is up to the Inju to understand WHY God thought the Injun, as a people, were to have their land taken and their tribes DESTROYED.

“Your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years…. Then in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.

Like the Amorites, God saw the wickedness of the Injun and removed them and gave the Land to a nation HE chose.

look for the last ficking time, YES some native americans committed horrible acts, and YES sometimes they were on defencless families etc that where doing no harm BUT the americans at the time WHERE stealing their land, often ignoring treaties they'd signed, and in relatiation the amry ALSO committed some horrible acts, lets not get into the bounty for native american scale the US goverment paid out...
So overall both sides are to blame, but, BUT only one side was a christain (you know the religion that claims to peaceful) democratic nation.

Injun?

this idjit either has been frozen in the winter of '42 (1842 that is) and just been thawed, or he's a troll.

I opt for the latter. Nobody is that stupid. Right? plz? Right?

Like the Amorites, God saw the wickedness of the Injun and removed them and gave the Land to a nation HE chose.

It's a well-known fact that the USA becomes more and more hispanic. Certain parts of the USA are now populated in majority with people from hispanic descent. It is projected that in a few decades, hispanic people will dominate huge areas of the USA, and that > 30% of the total population of the USA will be of hispanic origin.

Obviously, God saw the wickedness of the White AngloSaxon Puritan population of the USA, and removed them and gave the Land to a nation HE chose.

Enough sarcasm. "specter" is simply, plainly, and without doubt a fundie nutjob, who tries desperately to legitimate a historical blatant injustice.

I tried to figure out the mystery of the Inju, and all i came up with (disregarding that movie) was "Inju is a village in Vinni Parish, Lääne-Viru County, Estonia." (Wikipedia)

Now if i could only figure out what that has to do with any of this...

I think i won't bother.

FUCK OFF AND DIE PALEFACE!
YOU broke YOUR promises.
YOU violated the treatys.
YOU herded us into camps, so-called "reservations"... where YOU deliberately starved us.
YOU banned our languages, and our cultures.
YOU took our children to residential schools, where they were raped.

Dont try to shift responsibility to this God guy.

So if we run you and your from your home, and chase you all the way to Mexico, it's okay, right? I mean, you'll happily live in exile because God allowed it, so it must be his will, right? And it's totally not just people grabbing your land, right?

I do love the evil-is-okay-as-long-as-God-says-it-is argument and how it can be used to justify every horrible thing ever done by humankind.

Injuns?

Well, wee doggies! We gots us a gen-u-ine cowpoke. What's say we's rustle us up some baked beans and grits for the womenfolk ta put on the fire while we go lynch us one of them thar escaped slaves. Maybe we'll get lucky and find an Injun sleepin' in his tepee so's we can show him what the White Man thinks of his kind.

Seriously. Injuns? Are you fucking dense or what?

"It is up to the Inju to understand WHY God thought the Injun, as a people, were to have their land taken and their tribes DESTROYED."

Fuck you.

"Like the Amorites, God saw the wickedness of the Injun and removed them and gave the Land to a nation HE chose."

Sounds like the way genocide is typically rationalized. I was hoping for something fresh and new, what with the Injun reference and all. Sadly, all I found was more dimwitted rhetoric. And unoriginal rhetoric at that.

We have a twofer folks. I honestly didn't know that people still used the word "Injun" non-satirically these days. I thought that it was originally how the word "Indian" was pronounced in a very uneducated backwoods dialect. Which, of course, makes this guy uneducated. Just using his religion to justify his own hate. It's sad, really.

"ALL injuns must acknowledge the crimes of the indians of the past" tl;dr...

"Run To The Hills" by Iron Maiden was highly praised by the various Native American nations - none more so by that of the Lakota Sioux* - for bringing to the attention of new generations (and in a popular media) the history of atrocities wrought against them.

Iron Maiden are a British heavy metal band.

*- The song, by Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris, was inspired by the Sioux Wars.

All Christians must acknowledge the crimes of Christians past, and recognize that NOTHING happens on earth (sic) except Allah ALLOWS it. It is up to the Christian to understand WHY Allah thought the Christians, as a people, were to have their economy devastated and their Twin Towers destroyed.

'recognize that NOTHING happens on earth except God ALLOWS it'

So why complain about anything? Democrats in power, tolerance of homosexuality becoming the norm, legalised abortion... God allows it all, right?

1/26/2011 8:36:45 AM

Y'know, I like the word "injun". It's way better than American Indian, and less trite than "Native American".
