The only difference between Kosher and Halal, is that one is from a persecuted religion, nd the other is not.

Just as islam itself is judaism lite... so halal is kosher lite

A stronger argument can be made that Christians are pagan than that Muslims are pagan. It isn't Muslims who worship the Trinity.

Ruffian, you clearly are an ignorant and undereducated person or you would know that that Allah in Arabic means The God. It is not a name, no more that God is a name for Jews and Christians. Now the Jews, Christians and Muslims each worship a single God, that each group proclaims is the only God. It is no great leap of logic from this to divine that if different groups proclaim only one sole God, then for them there is indeed only one God that is shared by all of them. There is no room for any other interpretation, unless you stand logic on its hear. But being a freeper, that is exactly what I would expect of you. But it still doesn't make you right, or your logic worth a farthing.

And you still have to prove the existence of any god, or any demon.

In 1 Cor. 10:20, Paul isn't talking about Jewish or Christian sacrifice; he's talking about the sacrifices made by the Romans ("gentiles") to their gods. Observant Muslims, who worship the same God of Abraham as Christians and Jews but don't accept the authority of Peter or Paul to abandon Old Testament dietary laws, continue to follow much the same rules as Orthodox Jews, based on the same OT scripture.

Not quite. God of the Bible, Allah and Yahweh are rather different beings - just as Bible, Torah and Koran are rather different books. They, obviously, share a lot (since one was inherited from the other) - but the accents are way off.

I suppose one could have the same "beliefs" that you do, and indeed billions of the human species feel, without logical basis, that his or her "god" or in the Hindus' case "gods" are the true and obvious ones to worship.
And that illogical belief leads them to its corrolary -- that everyone else's gods have to be false.
Now, take that a little further and realize that your "god" is bullshit like all the rest and you've done something.

Ah, the ignorance and bigotry of the fundie, it knows no bounds. Kosher & Halal butchers are one and the same, slaughtering process-wise. One is run by Jews, one by Muslims, that's all.

I'm an Atheist. On the way back home from the pub, I've bought (to eat at home) a kebab. From a Halal takeaway.

Bible knowledge fail. Paul made it clear in Romans that gentile followers of Jeebus did not need to worry about non-kosher foods or foods used originally for religious purposes outside of Judaism or the Jeebus cult. What Paul did suggest, however, was for gentile Jeebus folks to take it easy about being indiscriminate when around Jewish Jeebus followers because it might be offensive to them to see food being eaten that was offered to idols.

Not that it takes away from the lunacy but just saying...

The God of Jews,Christians and Muslims is
"historically" the same God in as much as he is the God who ordered Abraham to sacrifice a sheep instead of his son Isaac as related in the Torah/Old Testament and the Q'uran.

The Muslims celebrate this event annually when every
family who can afford it kills,cooks and eats a sheep.
I remember seeing the pools of blood lying in the back alleys of Marrakech after this festival one year.

For those who regard scripture as literally true and not as subtle allegory ( i.e. all fundies) .The Judaeo-Christian God and the God of Islam MUST be the same,unless there are two Gods both of whom gave Abraham the same message.

BTW I read that ritual slaughter ,killing an animal by cutting its throat ,was introduced into Islam for "humanitarian" reasons in as much it made impossible the older and far more unpleasant method of live butchery or eating a living animal bit by bit.

Kosher and halal are EXACTLY THE SAME. You fail religious studies forever, or at least you would have if you had taken the course and not declared the course to be an evil Satanic plot to lure people away from Christianity.

@Brendan Rizzo No they're not - Kosher requires the certification of a Rabbi and they are not the same in detail.... you fail Religious Studies - ignorance is still bad even if you're anti-fundie.

The fundie's ignorance is that Paul teaches that eating such meat is harmless - unless someone of a weaker faith will interpret it as having been offered to an "idol". Paul explicitly says that "meat is meat is meat". So our fundie fails Bible class but not religious studies.
