This is worse than your average homophobia. There is obvious misogyny in here too, since Laura is going on and on about how having two mothers is a horrible thing. I actually don't think that if a male homosexual couple did something like ths, that she would claim that they're "anti-fathers" or something like that. Her main objection here does not seem to be that the couple is gay, but that the child will not be raised by a father. There also seems to be some hatred directed towards the child for daring to be conceived by artificial insemination, but I might be overanalyzing this.
