Babies, particularly those under 1 years old, need a father to help raise them. After all, men are capable of beating a baby far harder than a mere woman. And babies definitely need to be soundly walloped by someone stronger than a woman. It's the only way the baby will learn to be a robotic slave to authority and violence. Of course, you needn't worry about the child's poor mental health in later life, Jesus will sort that out. Insanity and poor mental health are His specialities.

These women make the deliberate choice to have a child, while putting full attention into the question of whether or not they are prepared, financially and emotionally, for the major undertaking of raising a child...and that makes them horrible people bent on the downfall of civilization?
Just what is your ideal scenario, anyway...a fifteen year old getting knocked up because she doesn't know any better and being forced to drop out of school and marry the father who will then spend the next couple decades squeaking by on a series of dead end, minimum wage jobs because he hasn't finished high school either?

Deliberately to deprive a child of a father, to arrange his conception the way one might arrange a major purchase, to raise him in a home without a man, cut off from half his kin and exposed to the shame of having two “mothers,” is nothing less than child abuse.
They will love him, care for him, and tend to his basic needs. They aren't incapable of that just because one of them doesn't have a penis. If having two parents of opposite gender was all that mattered, the Ramseys would have been ideal parents.
