Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon poses here with the newborn baby of her lover, Christine Marinoni. The Daily Mail refers to the baby, who was born last week, as the couple’s son, expecting readers to swallow nonsense whole and slide down the rabbit hole of artificially-created insanity without raising the slightest objection or cry for help.
Nixon, who plays an emotionally sterile wife in the Sex and the City movie, says, “I’m just a woman in love with another woman.”
Despite her madonna-like pose in this photograph, Nixon is a typical anti-mother of our times, a person who has violated the most basic terms of motherhood.
Homosexual “parents” are similar to the Baba Yagas of ancient fairy tales who stalked children in the woods. They may not have pointy noses or broomsticks. They may not live in tiny cabins surrounded by fences made of human bones. But they are just as hostile to the young, snatching away their innocence and security, stealing them from their tiny cradles. Deliberately to deprive a child of a father, to arrange his conception the way one might arrange a major purchase, to raise him in a home without a man, cut off from half his kin and exposed to the shame of having two “mothers,” is nothing less than child abuse.
What has happened to the hearts of lesbians? They are shriveled and turned to stone.

"The Daily Mail refers to the baby, who was born last week, as the couple’s son, expecting readers to swallow nonsense whole and slide down the rabbit hole of artificially-created insanity without raising the slightest objection or cry for help."
So, if he is not considered their "real" son, is it "nonsense" for children who are adapted to be considered the children of their parents?
My (technically by adaption, though I consider her my blood) cousin would like to have a word with you, then.
And every time I read something like this, I just think to myself "They are still losing, and I'm almost certain within my lifetime gay people will be allowed to marry, and then I'll get to watch you have a conniption fit as you try to find something else to manufacture votes for, and that'll be funny!" and feel better.
And finally: I'm sure The Daily Mail has readers that required IVF or other fertility treatments in order to get pregnant, it's not just "The EBIL GAYS!!!" that need it. Explain how that's part of God's Plan-did He just really want my cousin to be adapted, for example?

Rupert Murdock makes a lot of money off you that way.

@Ellipsoidal (re: the link you posted)-
Even after hanging around this site for as long as I have, there are still some things surprise me with their cruelty and disgust me to my very core. The commentary on that page is one of those things. I don't even know WHAT to call those people-- all the insults that come to mind insult another, innocent group by proxy, like men or women or people who were born outside of wedlock! I guess I'll just go with the major understatement here and say that they're massive jerks who need to learn basic empathy.
As for OP, I'd say that your restrictive and narrow definition of parenting is far more damaging than a child being brought up by two loving parents whom happen to be the same gender.

...I would pay to see Ellen DeGeneres punch this woman in the face.
Lesbians are people. Most of the ones i know would/do make excellent mothers. Maybe Laura here is just jealous that homosexuals are proving, on average, to be better parents than straight couples.
TL;DR - Lesbians rock, OP needs a clue.

Thank goodness Laura Wood is here to moralize to us based on the fictional villian of sixteenth-century Russian fairy tales. I don't how how I'd have lived without her valuable input.

Actually, strictly speaking Cynthia Nixon is bisexual, not lesbian... don't know about her wife/girlfriend/whatever...

"The Daily Mail refers to the baby, who was born last week, as the couple’s son ..."
What-what-what-what WHAT!? The Daily Mail? Tolerant!?
Also, grimsoncrow (first post) has it absolutely spot on.
@Princess Rot. I know, right? She'll start moralising to us using the fucking Groke next.

She thinks that by trashing other women and herself she's just that much hotter and more appealing to men. Jealous of lesbian porn actresses, maybe?

And difference between that and priestwho rape the young?

So, in other words, women depend on men. And adopting a kid is now being heartless.
With apologies to any decent women reading this, but this Laura Wood is a cunt.

Okayyyyyy somebody's a raging misogynist.

So when we finally reach that magical time when it's scientifically possible for two women to conceive a child that is uniquely theirs, thereby rendering the entire male gender utterly unnecessary, will you shut your trap, Laura?
And incidentally, we have reached the point where males are functionally unnecessary for the continuation of the species. If all men died overnight, the human race would be fine. We have more than enough sperm stored to foster several future generations, of which more males would undoubtedly be born. However, if the opposite happened, and all women died overnight, the human race would be completely fucked.
