[re: naming it Conservative Bible Project or Conservapedia Bible Project]

But I feel that "conservative" is an important term to continue to use in connection with this project. It indicates that we're not going to be fooled by, or allow, liberal distortions of the Bible.

Liberal politics is having too negative an effect on Christianity. Our "conservative" Bible project is one important way to negate the liberal distortions. Look at how much liberals have complained about it. That's a good sign.

In Christ,

Andy

I know that Wikipedia is being infiltrated by Christians.

How do I know this? there is a bastard named Art Lapella who claims hes an atheist, but he mentions St. Peter on his personal info.

There really isnt much to say about this, other than christians that try to skew history are real douchebags.

Come on Andy, admit it, one day we're going to go to Conservapedia and there will be just the one page reading 'Ha! Ha! Fooled you!'

Andy, did you get sand in your vagina again?

Look, whatever you call it the pukka fundies over at the King James Only movement will hate it anyway.

No. We've laughed about it. I have no complaints about your comedy gold mine of a project, although I wish you could find some more constructive uses for your resources.

I'd love to see how you will remove all the "liberal bias" from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. In fact, almost the entirety of Jesus' preaching is liberal-minded. You might as well remove any mention of him from your bible.
Fucking retard.

Look at how much liberals have complained about it.

Mr. Schlafly, I think you misunderstood the reactions about your "project". Very few liberals "complain" about it.

Our reaction is rather something between sheer disbelief and bewilderment ("That MUST be parody! It is parody, isn't it? Please somebody tell me it is parody ...") and pure painfully hurting laughter. ("HAHAHAH ... *gasp* HAHAHAH!!!! Please make it stop! *gasp gasp* Oh the pain! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!")

You want to negate politically motivated distortions yet are creating this Bible from a purely conservative worldview. So really, you a creating a Bible distorted by conservative politics. How is that better? Surely you should want the true, undistorted word of your lord, right?

Nothing Andy says has the capacity to shock as he is so detached from reality and the very personification of the word delusional. That said, ConservaPOEdia is one of my favourite reads for batshittery and fuckwittery.

No, Christianity is having a negative effect on Christianity.

Andy's brain interprets bouts of laughter and mockery as complaints.

Conservaleaks? Really? WTF is there to leak?

I know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but this pale imitation is closer to an insult, being that Wikileaks actually serves a useful function.

People in general are complaining about it Andy, because you're own damn bible says it's against the rules to rewrite the bible. Hypocrite.

"But I feel that "conservative" is an important term to continue to use in connection with this project. It indicates that we're not going to be fooled by, or allow, liberal distortions of the Bible."

So, you're only going to allow conservative distortions then. Is that it?

You know, since you're not a scholar of ancient Greek dialects. Or Hebrew. Or Biblical history. Or history in general. Or anything else for that matter.

"Liberal politics is having too negative an effect on Christianity."

Making you look bad in general or, more specifically, like raving lunatics, might seem negative to you but trust me, it's quite beneficial for everyone else involved.

"Our "conservative" Bible project is one important way to negate the liberal distortions."

Yeah. I don't think so. I think this is a massive ego stroking project you've created for yourself. You think your version is going to replace the KJV and everyone will be reading the Andy Schlafly Version--while hailing you as a genius unparalleled, no doubt.

Ain't gonna happen, buck-o.

"Look at how much liberals have complained about it. That's a good sign."

So what is it when all of the conservatives complain about it? Which they have. Repeatedly.

What was all that bullshit about the bible being the word of god and altering his words and such?

Just more proof when the fuckers can't get their way they invent their own world to control...

I wonder if Andy is related to CWC.

Yay, Schlafly's back!

STFU, Schlafly. What part of "there are liberal Christians" do you not understand? What part of "separation of church and state [politics]" do you not understand? What part of "you have no idea how to properly translate the Bible because you have no knowledge of ancient languages" do you not understand? The Bible says you're going to hell for this endeavor. I hope you like being barbecued.

Conservaleaks? Are they editing the documents to make them fit a conservative worldview or something?

No matter what, though, it's still WTF.

Does this tosser understand the history of the bible: i.e. that bits and pieces were cobbled together from a much larger corpus under the eye of a roman emperor (and his legions)?

The super secret Conservapedia admin mailing lists, of course!

In a rationally designed website (*ahem* Wikipedia) the policy discussions happen out in the open and everyone has at least some chance of influencing the policy. Of course, Conservapedians want their site to be a diametrically opposed to everything Wikipedia gets right. Hence, super-secret mailing lists.

It's gotten to the point that rants from Schlafly no longer even cause me to bang my head up against the wall.

I understand the Department of Defense has been studying Andy to see if they can harness stupidity as a weapon. More to come I'm sure on this top secret project.

Really, Andy?

How hard is it to 'distort' things like "You cannot serve both God and money" (Matthew 6:24) and "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor" (Mark 10:21)?

You don't find anything... I dunno... blasphemous about creating a literal re-write of the bible to conform to your political views in light of your peers interpreting the current words differently?
