I'm not a spambot
Since we're sane people and we know that it's a natural phenomenon, we prefer looking DOWN.

Bit more than "dozens", wasn't it?
Anyway, you have now officially bought a one-way ticket to hell, Mr. Fundie.
2/27/2011 4:20:01 AM
And these people wonder why no one can stand them.
2/27/2011 4:34:40 AM
There are only three words appropriate for me to aim in Trust's general direction right now, and they are wholly inadequate to sum up my absolute gobsmacked disgust with them:
You sick fucker.
No, wait. I have more.
You deluded, inhuman, sadistic sack of fertilizer, what the fuck do you think you're doing, praising the death of dozens, the suffering of thousands, and the cost in the millions or even billions? How exactly is that the work of a loving, just god of any stripe?
What in blue monkey dishwasher hell is wrong with you, and why are you not bloody well committed?

I took one for the team and read the rest of the thread. To be fair to the RR fuckwits, nobody seconded TrustHIM on his jubilant smiley, and he was completely ignored. That said, several other members did use the phrase 'birth pains', which I think is a euphemism for 'god's friendly fire'??
I'm ashamed to be the same species as these 'people'.
2/27/2011 4:47:27 AM
I will never get over how happy these people are to see destruction.
2/27/2011 4:49:49 AM
I read the thread. I think I need to take a shower now. A long shower, followed by three shots of rum. I feel unclean, I feel incredibly hateful right now, and honestly? I'm almost starting to think those idiots are right; That the slate's overdue for a clean sweep.
I'm at the point where I'm honestly weighing the logic of genocide, whether or not it can be honestly justified in the case of groups like RR and extremist churches of any creed. I'm weighing uncomfortably close to "yes" right now, and that makes the humanist in me incredibly unhappy.
Shower, rum, aspirin. Stat.

Shout it out! Scream it from the roof tops! Bellow the good news until you are are hoarse! Jump for joy and spin deliriously until you are dizzy! For now is the time to be glad and laugh uproariously at joyous tidings of holy import! One of the Gods is coming! Whoopee! Soon I will fly, and then I can officially declare myself to have not been insane after all. Yippee! Not long to wait now! It will be soon ... again, ... as predicted by an earthquake in New Zealand. Gosh! Don't the Gods work in mysterious ways?

When people ask me how I can be so sure tha premillenial dispensationalism is wrong, I have only to point to people like this who rejoice at the suffering and deaths of hundreds of innocent people.
Why? Because they want the world, with its beautiful forests, fields, mountains, deserts, lakes, and oceans, to be destroyed. I just can't see a righteous God getting behind this.

Taken from 'THE COMPENDIUM OF AMAZING FACTS OF THE WORLD'.
Did you know that earthquakes do indeed presage the Coming of the Lord? Take, for instance, the Shaanxi earthquake of 1556, a major disaster that killed 830,000 people, it rightly preceded the Coming of the Lord, fairly soon, well, it will have done when the Lord does actually come. Similarly, the Haiti earthquake of 2010, death toll 316,000+, that also presaged the Coming of the Lord, soon. And, of course, the Christchurch quake of 2011 means the Lord will soon Come. It can't be put down to mere coincidence that all these quakes presage the Coming of the Lord. Can it?
Just look at the thousands of earthquakes that occur every year, and they all presage the Coming of the lord, it's a sure sign of the Coming of the Lord. Simple to look up the records of all those thousands of quakes and correctly infer that the Lord will soon Come.
Also, just take a look at the frequency of volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods, plagues, hurricanes, droughts and wars that have occurred since the Earth was made 6000 years ago, or thereabouts. WTF, surely, you don't need any more conclusive evidence than that, LOL?
Facts of the world, amazing!

Every natural disaster is a sign of that Jeebus is coming for you assholes, isn't it? You are pathetic, but more significantly, it's ironic that it is you morons who call atheism a "cult of death."
Quite telling that.

Get this on the top 100. Now. This needs to be seen. This needs to be heard. This level of depravity must NOT be forgotten!
2/27/2011 7:16:23 AM
You are the lowest form of life in existence. Any space that you take up is, by default, wasted space.
....I really don't know what I can say to this.
2/27/2011 7:25:16 AM
I'm hoping TrustHIM is a stupid teenager who will learn better given the time. This is NO way to act!
2/27/2011 7:43:15 AM
I have relatives in New Zealand so distant that they do not even know I exist, nor do I know who they are. If any, living or now dead, were caught in the quake, I feel nothing but great sorrow for what they are going through. This applies equally to every other mother's son and daughter in the same predicament. On their behalf, I would like to wish TrustHIM a very slow and painful death without benefit of painkilling drugs. You know, like the kind you get when a building falls on you but doesn't kill you outright.
2/27/2011 7:44:47 AM
That's probably what lunatic fundies said back in 79 AD when Vesuvius destroyed Pompeii and Herculaneum, and in 1755 when an earthquake destroyed most of Lisbon. If we looked up every time there was some natural disaster somewhere, we'd need a chiropractor for our necks.
2/27/2011 7:51:54 AM
"Start looking up!!!
Don't you find that difficult to do with your head so firmly planted in your ass?
2/27/2011 8:00:34 AM
You selfish mother fucking prick! People fucking DIED, families are devastated, and all you can think about is yourself. Calling you a monster is too mild, you are pure evil.
2/27/2011 8:28:04 AM
Why, what am I looking for in the sky?
a sign to these people?
And while a bunch of rightful indignation is being heaped upon TrustHIM, can you really blame any Christian fundies for rejoicing in the deaths of others caused by God when in the bible he has one heck of a history of killing innocent people, not to mention all the horrible death & destruction to come in the Tribulation? To fundies, this is just another in a long line of atrocities caused by God for some unknown divine reason. If you're going to accept that it's OK for God to kill millions of people in the OT, including wiping out entire societies to the last man, woman, child, and even livestock, a couple hundred people dying in an earthquake is nothing. It's sick and disgusting, but for some reason an all-good, kind, loving god is able to get away with mass murder, and fundies are totally OK with it.

Jezebel's Evil Sister
Unlike a lot of people here, I do NOT wish for TrustHIM to die in a fire.
Much too quick. I wish her or him a long, long, long life ... full of "tests" from God and intermittent demon attacks. Then, at the very end of a painful life and just seconds before TrustHIM sinks into eternal oblivion, may she or he suddenly realize that there is no such thing as a Rapture and Jesus is never coming back.
2/27/2011 9:07:21 AM
You know what's really sad? Others on Rapture Ready are PRAYING for those in New Zealand. They show some kindness for once, and then this guy shows up.
2/27/2011 9:09:37 AM
Trust... DIE... Just fucking die.

I lived through the 1970 Ancash earthquake in Peru as a small child, and I remember how terrified I was. I remember the destruction and loss of life it caused. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Peruvian_Earthquake
I would love to say that I cannot fathom how anyone could
over an urban earthquake, but sadly, I have run into this fundamentalist attitude before. Fundies really are among the lowest scum of humanity.
My sympathies to the people of New Zealand, and to the victims and their families.
2/27/2011 10:51:52 AM
A viewpoint that leads people to cheer about something like that isn't healthy. End of story.
